"I don't know what I expected but lectures in Korea are exactly the same as in Canada. I think I might die of boredom." Jiyun complained, every word the lecturer was saying went in from one ear and out from the other. "At least we just need a pass I guess but even passing seems hard right now."

She had her hands on her head, frustrated that she wasn't internalising anything that was taught. "How about we go study at the cafe nearby the university after this?" Haerin suggested to which Jiyun agreed while Chaewon simply shrugged.

The three were headed for the cafe, there was a soft breeze that blew which didn't help that much amidst the scorching heat from the summer sun. There were crowds of students that rushed from class to class, and others who simply were eating with their friends at the benches in the middle of the patch of grass scattered across the school compounds.

"Jesus christ I'm sweating so much how are they enjoying a meal out there?" Chaewon commented. The other two laughed at her in response.

The cafe was hidden in a corner not far from the university, but yet it seemed like few students knew of it. The area was secluded, and the closer they got to it, the more Jiyun felt a sense of familiarity like she had been there before.

She paused in her footsteps, right in front of the place. Staring up at the name, she tried to dig up something and yet came short.

"Jiyun, what's wrong?" Her friends called out, glancing back at the girl who was some distance away while they had already entered.

"Nothing." She replied, running up to them. She grasped onto the door handle, planning to enter but the memory that suddenly emerged made her stop in her tracks.

"Yo dude, this place is kinda sick." The boy spoke, holding the door for Jiyun. She smiled at him with gratitude before walking to the booth at the corner for them to sit with him following suit.

"You have got to stop dude-zoning me man, I'm your girlfriend for goodness sake." She spoke while rolling her eyes.

"Sorry. It's a habit now."
"That's a lie because you used to call me the clarinet psychopath."
"You were literally constantly competing to get the best section award and you were scary alright. My reasons are justified."

"Just say you don't like me and leave." Jiyun sighed, pretending to be disappointed.
"Alright then." Mark stood up, leaving only to buy them their drinks of course. He had a cap and a mask on to avoid getting recognised although there was only the staff and one other person in the cafe. "Two hot chocolates please."
