Author's POV

"Thugil, you might not be aware of Atthai's love story. I once overheard Ammu saying that among her four brothers, Aadhiran Mama was "the lover boy," completely smitten with Atthai, to the point where he would do literally anything for her... isn't that right, Atthai?"

Thulir said to Thugil teasing her mother-in-law more who was blushing more....while the other ladies giggled....

"Indeed, he possesses an innate charm—a quality that has been with him since childhood. I distinctly recall an evening when she was upset, having locked herself in her room after dinner. Her father was out of town at the time. Mozhi and I tried our best to console her, but she insisted she had already eaten and shut the door on us. That was the time when this duo acted like a cat chasing a rat—played their own game. I knew what was happening, though I kept my knowledge discreet. Then, midnight, as I went to the kitchen for water, I heard a faint sound from the back. Silently, I approached and witnessed him descending the pipe. Mind you, his entry into our house wasn't forbidden; he simply chose to channel his inner Romeo, scaling walls to demonstrate his efforts—even when the front door offered easy access"

Nandhini said giving more reason for the ladies to tease her daughter more......

"Ada ponga patti ungaluku therila apove avaru kathal mannan.....Efforts does count patti"

(Ada...grandma you don't know, he was actually would have been the  loverboy every girls dream for then......Efforts does count patti)

Thugil said making Thulir chuckle and other ladies laugh while Nandhu narrow her eyes at her.....

"You're unaware of Nandhu papa's story, aren't you? Our family is brimming with love stories, beginning with my great grandparents. My beloved Devaki's parents were the OG couple, and their children and grandchildren have all followed in their footsteps. Now, this tradition has been handed down to our generation. I believe that only Ammu and Appa's marriage was arranged, which is a rarity in our family history...."

Thulir clarified making Thugils  eyes wide in surprise..

"Really Akka!!!!!!"

"Yes.."

"How can you say your parents' marriage was arranged when your father loved your mother from childhood, even without seeing her or knowing her real name?."

Cynthiya asked Thulir...

"Exactly"

Inissai came to support her...

"In that case my Appa got lucky he found his lost love in arranged marriage"

Thulir raised her hands in surrender as the bickering persisted. Uyir didn't join the ladies' chat; she stayed in her room. Meanwhile, Thalir sat there, filled with regret and burning with jealousy.

Thalir sits directly in front of Thulir, yet her akka behaves as if she doesn't exist. Thugil, seated next to Thulir, chatting and laughing with her sister, unsettles Thalir. She has always been close to Thulir, overly reliant on her akka for everything. Even though she is capable of taking care of herself, she seeks her akka's opinion before making any decisions. She is also very possessive of her sister; when present, she does not allow anyone else to sit beside Thulir but herself....

But now, seeing another girl taking her place beside her sister, with Thulir speaking kindly to her and Thugil calling Thulir 'akka' each time... it hurt Thalir even more. Unable to bear the sight, she stood up, left the room, and went straight to the kitchen. She took a water bottle from the fridge and began drinking in one long gulp, tears streaming down her face. After finishing the bottle, she wiped away her tears and swallowed the lump in her throat, stifling the sobs that threatened to break through...

It's been a week since her return, and upon learning of her sister's pregnancy, she was ecstatic. However, she couldn't bring herself to embrace her 'akka' and express her joy. Guilt held her back every time. Even Thulir refrained from initiating conversation with her younger sister, offering only a single smile in the presence of others to avoid awkwardness....

The pain of him dismissing her love as mere infatuation hurt deeply, yet she managed to somewhat move past that anguish. However, the loss of her akka was something she could never truly overcome......

Thalir always wanted her akka at times more than her mother....it's not like Uyir was a ignorant mother but for Thalir her akka was the go to person at home....may be it's due to the 8 years age gap even for Thulir her little sister was like a first child...

Her brother and sister always come to her first; their day would never be complete without sharing the day's events with Thulir, or receiving at least one lecture a week from her for any stunts they pulled that resulted in a mess......because at the end It would be Thulir who would help them to come out of the mess.....

She even attended their parents teacher meetings in school....

Thuyavan is kind of too good at masking his emotions compared to his twin but even he would be more expressive when it comes to Thulir.......the trio have such deep bond........

Thulir isn't one to openly shower her siblings with love and affectionate words. More often, she's found scolding and taunting and complaining about how their existence is a trouble for her. She may never confess her deep love for them, preferring to keep it concealed, yet her siblings understand it well.

Thalir picked up another bottle and began to drink, but she coughed heavily......Someone else tapped her head...

"Slowly..."

Hearing the voice, her body stiffened. She harshly wiped away her tears and took a deep breath to compose herself turned back. Without looking at him, she attempted to walk past and leave the place, but she stopped when she heard him speak.

"She is your Akka; she won't stay angry with you for long. Don't cause yourself more pain by staying away from her. Go and talk to her—running away is not a solution."

Thalir chuckled at that and turned at folded her arms infront and looked at him...

"Oh, wow! You're gracing me with this advice, Mr. Aadhavan. I'll take it as seriously as you did in your own life"

Thalir scoffed making him sign...

"Thalir I know you are angry at me...but"

Thalir cut him off

"Save it, Aadhavan. I neither need it nor have any right to be angry with you. Likewise, you don't possess any right to offer unsolicited advice. So, kindly be invisible in my life"

Thalir retorted and moved out of the kitchen leaving him perplexed.....

This is the exact place where it all started and it's going to be same place their story restarted again....................Last time she fixed something she didn't broke but now he have to fix something he broke into pieces....
