16.. an exciting age for a young girl.. first date, first driving license, first.. everything. A car with their mom and dad to teach them how to drive. However, my life is a lot different than those other girls. For starters, I live with my sisters. My oldest sister, Prudence or Prue for short. My second older sister is Piper and my third older sister is Phoebe. My name is Persephone, after the goddess of spring, life and death.

Ever since our grandmother died of a heart attack, we've been on our own. Prue works at Bentley's, an artifact business. Piper is the manager of a restaurant named Quake. Phoebe.. I haven't seen her since she moved to New York years ago. I miss her a lot.

My eyes are closed as I rest in my bed, curled up against the warm, silky pillows. Behind my closed eyelids, a weird dream played out as it always does.. the feeling of hot air around me, red/black rocks and someone with devil horns and wings. It's never clear but he keeps calling me his daughter. I can't escape his grasp, my sisters are trying to save me.

"Persephone!" I jolted awake upon hearing Prue shout my name. I sat up, my eyes looking around the room. Seeing Prue, I hugged her tightly, burying my face into her neck. Her warm, soft touch was comforting to me. Her hand rubbed soothing circles on my back, my small frame huddled against hers. "Shh, shh, it's okay.. it's okay.." She whispered, her lips against my hair. "I keep having that dream, almost every night.. it feels so real." My words are barely a whisper, soft and shaky. She gently rubbed the back of my neck, pressing my head against her own neck. "It was just a dream, sweetheart. Piper and I aren't going anywhere.. you won't ever end up in hell because you're a good person. We're your sisters and we'll always protect you." Prue whispered, kissing my head.

A sigh escaped me as I breathed in her perfume.. just then, the lights flashed off as the power went off. Prue sighed, helping me out of bed. "Come on, let's go downstairs and make something warm. It'll help." She carefully guided us down the stairs. We made hot chocolate when the power came back on, a great relief from my nightmare. The door opened and Piper came in, closing and putting up her umbrella. "Hey, Piper!" I greeted, my lips brown from the hot chocolate. She smiled and gave me a cuddle, kissing my head.

The two delved into conversation as I focused on my hot chocolate. Just then, the door open and Phoebe stepped, holding the emergency key. I got out of my chair and I rushed to her, hugging her tightly, burying my face into her shoulder. She hugged me just as tightly, gently running her fingers through my hair. "I missed you, sweet girl." Phoebe whispered, kissing my head. "I missed you, too, Phoebe.." I whispered, my voice thick. "Shh.. " she kissed my head again, both of us feeling Prue's apprehensive stare on us.
