Week Three.
new challenges, new dates, new...ideas.
"We're twenty percent done with the experiment. Let's debrief."
The bleary-eyed production crew shuffled into chairs around the room for their first debrief meeting.
And because everything runs straight through during this show's filming, no cuts or editing in between, the only time to have this meeting was at the ungodly hour of four in the morning.
These meetings were a rarity in television, especially for a reality show like theirs.
But as everyone had acknowledged from the beginning, this season was anything but ordinary.
The crew was in for an unforgettable experience.
"They had four confirmed matches last ceremony." A man by the name of Dana called, reading off their many papers.
"But still no confirmed matches from The Truth Booth." A woman who goes by Nori adds.
"So basically they're still the blind leading the blind." The woman in charge, who shall remain unnamed for now said and they nod.
"Alright." She sighed. "Can't build much off of that but...what else?"
"We got the date for this week." Rafael said casting it on the screen. They all turn their heads and smile.
"They'll love that." Jaycee smiles.
"Have we decided who gets the phone this week?" The producer said, placing her hands under her chin as her elbows rest on the table.
"Nope, you know we leave that to you every week." Miles gestured to the board with each contestant's picture on it.
She hums, standing up from her seat. Despite it being the crack of dawn, that didn't stop her from dressing to the nines.
When she was younger, she'd wonder why her mother always put that shit on no matter the hour - whether they were at the airport, grocery store, or a business meeting.
Her response? Someone's always watching. Keep them looking.
And she certainly did today.
