"Im sorry.. Jack," she said, he voice breaking as tears streamed down her cheeks. It was hard to hold them back when she knew what she did was wrong. Now, she has to face the consequences of her actions. And lose the person she loves.
"I really hope you are Rose. I really do. You took my trust for granted. You- I had so much love for you and you.. you stomped on it and threw it around." He looked down at the ground. His hands are still in his pockets. He couldn't look her in her eyes, not now. Probably never again.
Angela came up behind him. "Hey baby.." she stopped her words when she saw Rose's face.
"Baby?!" Rose said immediately. "You're leaving me to be with her?!" Rose's tears stopped. She was still hurt, but that hurt quickly turned to anger.
"Don't take it personal Rose, you did what you did, and you have no one else to blame but yourself." Angela said. Now she didn't sound snarcky, or rude, or mean. She sounded sympathetic. "He moved on, and I think it'll be better I'd you do too. Go be with Justin? Maybe that'll make you happy. Who knows, but he's done here. You messed up Rose."
Jack looked at Angela and smiled. He could really tell she had changed, matured. Something Rose didn't seem capable of. Angela smiled back at him and nodded.
"I'm sorry, Rose." Jack said as he finally looked at her. "But I really am done this time. I'm tired of letting you hurt me. You're a bad person, and I hope you realize that." He sighed. He turned away and walked out of the door. The last sliver of him left Rose. The sound of the door closing finalized it. Rose broke down on the floor, and she was speechless. She was hurt, and like Angela said, she had no one else to blame but herself. The regret started to set in. She let Jack slip through her fingers again, and now he wasn't coming back.
That's the end of Jack and Rose. Betrayal, Hurt, Pain. Maybe they'll talk again one day, or maybe they won't. Who knows what's in store for them in the future? All I know is that for now, this is the sad ending no one wanted but knew was coming.
