SorrySaan ba kasi galing ‘yon?
Snob and rude? I'm clearly the rude one for saying that!
Hindi naman siguro niya narinig.
Pero kung narinig niya, maybe he doesn't mind?
Hindi niya naman ako close. Maybe I'm just someone familiar with him since we are from the same school.
Iisipin niya pa ba na siya ang tinutukoy ko.
It is bothersome in a way that from the moment I woke at magpa-hanggang ngayon na nagtutulak ako ng cart para mag grocery ay iniisip ko pa rin ang nangyari kahapon.
For me he doesn't look rude, yes. Pero dahil sa narinig ay baka magpaka-rude na lang talaga siya sa akin at biglang magpakita sa pasukan.
Well…kung sakali man at mag-demand siya ng explanation, I can say that it is just a first impression. Impression doesn't mean that it's his personality too.
I am overthinking this.
Sinubukan ko na ‘wag nang isipin pa ‘yon at inabala na lang ang sarili na maghanap ng mga kailangan ko sa bahay.
There are rice, canned goods, chicken, pork, beef, other frozen foods, and drinks inside my cart.
Now I'm off to finding baking ingredients, condiments, and my other necessities.
Finishing everything that needs to be bought, I push my cart to where the counter is and push my cart to the last after seeing the end of the line.
“–my! More c-candies!"
The young boy whined. I tilted my head a bit to see the kid in front of me. He is sitting inside their cart. While her mom is holding into it.
“We bought candies, right? It's in there." The woman softly said and pointed at the candies they bought. The woman’s back is facing me so I couldn't see her face.
The kid frowned and pouted his little lips.
“Yeah, but it's so konti, I want more mommy. Gusto ko lots of candies” he moved his hand in a big circle.
“No, baby. It's already enough for you. Too many candies will rot your teeth.”
“I can already take care of my teeth, mommy. Daddy taught me how to brush my teeth." The kid said and smiled, showing his teeth to her mother.
The kid’s cuteness made me laugh softly. The young boy looked at me so as his mother.
“I’m sorry. Your son is just so cute.” I explained to the woman.
"Stubbornly cute sometimes,” the woman whispered. She looked at her son innocently and softly smiled.
The mother is maybe in her late 20s or early 30s. While her son is maybe around three to five years old.
“Hello!" the kid, looking at me.
"Hi! What’s your name?” tanong ko.
"My name is Tate. What is your name, ate pretty?” Tate asked.
“My name is Prim. And thank you for calling me pretty, Tate." I was thankful.
"You're welcome! My daddy would always tell mommy that she's pretty. You're pretty too so I should tell you that.” Tate exclaimed enthusiastically.
His mother and I laughed.
The woman looked at me, her eyes twinkling.
“But most of the time, he's cutely sweet."
