~Sans POV~
On the way home, Frisk was so tired that she fell asleep.
To be fair, It was the middle of the night.
I carefully picked her up and I carried her in my arms to Pap's and my house.
When I reached the building I sat her down on the couch and draped a blanket over her body before walking up the stairs to my room.
"Mmmm......Sansy..." I heard her mutter as she rolled over on her side. I stopped walking to look at her from over my shoulder before going back up
she's adorable when sleeping...

~The next day~
I roll over and drape my arm over the space between me and the wall to feel my mattress.
I sit up and look at the empty spot
oh..right..
I slipped my slippers on and walked down the stairs to see her still lying there, asleep on the green couch
"What..."
oh! she's waking up.
She sits up, rubbing sleep out of her eyes. After a few seconds of looking around her eyes met mine
I walk over to the kitchen and make myself some coffee
"I see you're awake. how'd you sleep?" I ask, calling out
she yawns and answers, "Like a baby. But...why the couch?"
"we aren't married or a couple in this timeline. so I thought it would be inappropriate to lay you in my bed" I walk back out and sit next to her
"So what we said last night meant nothing to you?" She asked sadly
"what? no, of course not! it's just that we're not officially boyfriend or girlfriend yet. to everyone else we just met two days ago. people might be suspicious if we rush things."
She looked sad and disappointed when I answered.
"Oh, ok. I...got to go to Waterfall. I have to 'meet' Undyne." She then quickly left the house without me being able to say anything else.
Chara floats from who knows where, rubbing his ghostly eyes and looks at me before following her
"GOOD MORNING BROTHER!" Paps calls from outside his door "WHERE DID THE HUMAN GO?"
"oh, she had to leave."
"OH...." He looked slightly disappointed before something clicked in his skull "THAT'S RIGHT! I HAVE TO MEET UP WITH UNDYNE TO GIVE MY REPORT!" He then dashed down the stairs and put the door

~Frisk POV~
As soon as I got close to Waterfall, I started to slow my running until I got to the entrance. I just stopped and leaned against a tree.
Why do I feel sad? Or disappointed? Did I expect something else? He has a point... but still...
internally sigh
I should go. Undyne, MK and Papy should be waiting. If I procrastinate any longer, who knows what will happen
