As I wandered from the downtown station square to the shops in Domino City
I took in the vibrant atmosphere around me.
It's a small town that I often visit a lot
I would often find myself strolling through here, enjoying the sights and sounds.
The view was captivating
A beautiful scene reminiscent of a painting in an art museum, with the hustle and bustle of people adding to its charm.
While exploring the downtown area
Something caught my eye—a Duel Monsters card glimmering in the sunlight.
I halted in my tracks, curiosity piqued, and made my way toward the gaming shop to investigate further.Hoping to that by understanding this card would lead me to the answers.
Dueling felt like a path that could guide me toward my goals
A way to unlock the potential within me and help me reach where I truly belonged."Oh, good to see you, Yuza. I'm glad you stopped by the game shop," Solomon Mutou
He greeted me with a warm smile
The kindness that came from the heart
A true reflection of the sweet, happy old man he was.
There was something comforting about seeing someone so content with life
Someone who finds joy in the simplest ways.
It was nice to witness the genuine warmth people like him carried within
Like a reminder that kindness and sweetness never fade with age."It's great to be here," Yuza
I replied, chuckling softly
As I admired the shelves full of cards.
They were all so rare, beautiful, and sparkly
Shining, glowing around the shop
Like they were the godsThis was Solomon Mutou, the owner of the game shop.
He sold a lot of Duel Monsters cards and was a true master of the game
Even teaching his grandson, Yugi, to play.
Yugi was a fun, kind-hearted kid who seemed to draw everyone in with his warmth and enthusiasm.
He would always welcome anyone who wanted to hang out with him."What brings you here today?" Solomon
He asked
"Just looking around," Yuza
I said..
My eyes scanning the shelves filled with rare and powerful cards."See any card that catches your eye?" Solomon
He asked, a knowing smile on his face.
"Yeah... I'll take that one," Yuza
I said, pointing at a card with a silver, shiny dragon.
The card gleamed under the light drawing me in."Ah, the Silver-Eyes White Dragon. That's a rare card," Solomon
He explained as he took it off the shelf.
"It's said that once you wield it, you'll unlock the secrets of its true power. But it takes time and mastery." Solomon
"That sounds... like a lot to take in." Yuza
"You can keep it. It's yours." Solomon
He handed the card over to me with a gentle smile
"Wait... for free?" Yuza
I asked, surprised by his generosity.
"Yes. Remember, this card is special.
Take good care of it. If you're building your own deck, this will be one of your rarest and most valuable cards. Don't let anything happen to it—no stains, no scratches. It's meant to be cherished." Solomon"I'll make sure of that. It's an honor to have it," Yuza
I said, holding the card carefully
Feeling a sense of responsibility with this card
I have to be careful with it to not let it slipped out
Knowing special rare cards like these can be slippery to hold onto
Which is why.. being be careful with rare powerful cards is important
It takes good care to hold onto them in your hands
Once you get them in your hands
You could feel the magic that's like an miracle to handle... for you...
