Liam turned around to face joey himself. He quickly grabbed his crowbar and bashed it's head in.
This stunned it as Liam noticed a key. He dashed to grab it but the creature tried to tackle him. He quickly held his crowbar. It pinned him down by holding the crowbar down. Liam launched his crowbar back up as it launched the creature back. He took the key and unlocked the gate. But he couldn't let it escape too so he waited as it dashed at him. He launched it back with his crowbar as it got wedged between two rotating teacups. Liam took the opportunity and quickly started up the ride. It started to rotate as it ripped off the creature's head and then proceeded to rip the rest of it to shreds of flesh and worms. With that he thought he ended the flesh worms. Liam quickly ran back to the car and started it up. With nearly 0 gas he drove back home as quick as possible. He arrived home nearly an hour later. He quickly rushed into his home and locked the door. He went down to his basement and loaded his shotgun to make sure it didn't return. He then laid his shotgun next to his bed. As he laid down and went to bed. Completely calm. No distractions.
2010 December 19th
After a week since the incident Liam was back to safety in his house. When he got a call from his old friend felix "what the?" Liam whispered to himself. He picked up the phone anyway "hey. Where have you been? I haven't heard from you in like a year?" Liam asked slightly annoyed.
"Well, I've had work to do recently. Like alot. And I heard about a recent lab getting demolished after some... failed experiment" he said, gently poking fun at the lab. "And essentially I heard that you live in a nearby town. So I was wondering if you wanted to check out the old rotting lab?" Felix asked. "What?.. what lab??" Liam asked, bewildered. "Oh you didn't hear about this?" Felix chuckled "No?" Liam responded, still confused. "Search it up. It happened like years ago!" Felix laughed slightly. "Ok I'll check it out and call you back" Liam responded. "Alright. I'll talk to ya later!" Felix responded
Liam searched it up and surely enough a lab located in the city dalim was demolished sometime between late 2003 to early 2004 due to it going bankrupt after the top scientist mysteriously disappeared one day. As Liam dug into the topic more and more he eventually found out that apparently the top scientist one day decided to test something, known as a flesh worm. He chose to test it on his friend which caused him to become a fleshy being that eventually killed the scientist. And after multiple attempts to kill it, it still escaped into the nearby woods.. it was spotted in the forest nearby an amusement park which caused them to do a safety check were 52 out of 68 guards that they sent out never returned and their bodies were never found. So they had to shut down the amusement park sometimes late 2007...
Then it all clicked...
