Chapter 1:The Festival Of Lights

It was early morning at pridelands city. The birds were chirping, the sun was shining and Roni was sleeping peacefully till she got snuggled from her mate the handsome Baliyo.
Baliyo:"Good morning sweetie" he said kissing her cheek.
Roni:*yawns*"good morning to you honey"
She got stretched from her bed, thinking about what she would do to teach her music class at hybrid middle school and she asked her boyfriend.
Roni:"Shall I teach my students about intervals or chromatic scales?"
Her boyfriend replied to her
Baliyo:"it's up to the students's wanting and besides tonight's a special one. It's the festival of lights"
Roni smiled softly:"yeah it's Chanukah today I almost forgot*giggles*
Baliyo:"maybe your students can do an ensemble with you?"
Roni:"yes but not all of them celebrating Chanukah like you and I do"
Baliyo:"yes but we can mix every holiday music together and I can help as well*winks*"

Roni:"I will never forget love,you are playing the guitar amazingly,we fit together in our music playing"
Baliyo*kisses her nose* :"so let's get ready for your lesson with them. Don't forget at 18:00 to go to pride rock's garden"
Roni:*smiles as she changes her night pyjamas to a simple jeans,a band T-shirt,her backpack with sheet music and drum sticks* she went to her job as Baliyo slowly began to make errands for later.
He went to the tree of life centre to help with his aunt Nirmala in therapy and healing for those who need it. In another place Roni was ready to start her class,she took a marker to start her lessons.
Roni:"Good morning class, today it's a bit of special day since it's the holidays originally I wanted to teach about intervals and chromatic scales but I decided to get into the holiday spirit and we can do mix music so who wants to join?"
Lots of voices cheered with happiness one of them was the son of Kion and Bunga - Taion.
Taion:"I will,I am sure my friends Jake, Kibo, Luna ,Rusty and Zoe would join right?"
Taion's friends:"heck yeah! Let's jam*brings musical instruments*
The rest of Taion's guard brought instruments - few guitars, trombone and saxophone.
Taion:"Will you play with us right? Baliyo comes along too?"
Roni*smiles*:"Yes we both will. It's at 18:00 am at pride rock's garden"
Roni and her class were practicing with the music for the holidays
Meanwhile at the tree of life centre, Baliyo and Nirmala were talking to Varya the tigress- a single mom to her cubs
Nirmala:"You feel very tired raising your cubs all alone without a mate but luckily you got two older adopted kids to help with you as well"
Varya:"Yes they help but not now since everyone is at school currently but I just wish I had a mate to help me to balance family life as well"
Baliyo:"Varya, it will be fine,I got an idea. How about let your older kids get a mentor while the young ones can go to after school activities and you can rest a day off"
Varya:"It sounds great.I will let Kai and Coradia know about this,of course they will inform Feliks,Polina and Pasha"
Nirmala:"Anything you need for our session? How about meditation?"
Varya:"Yes please*the trio are doing meditations*
After the session was done, Baliyo and the others went to their home. Roni finished her music class in the school she's teaching and she went to rest as well.
It was the time for the holiday party at pride rock's garden. It had a huge tree with presents and a menorah with candles and latkes. It was very nicely decorated. Roni came with her musical backpack and Baliyo followed her they began to organise the place.
Now Taion and his friends came to practice the music as well and their parents , uncles aunts and other family relatives and grandparents came along.
Nirmala,Surak and Rani came too even Varya with all of her children,Sierra and her girlfriend Jasiri came also Dalton and his mom Even Mzuri and Tsema the meerkat girls came.
Roni:"This time for the holidays whatever you are celebrating, now my class , Baliyo and I will perform some music for the holidays"
Roni came to her druns while Taion, Baliyo and his friends were in the guitar and the rest were in the woodwinds instruments.
Everyone clapped as the music ended.
It was a lovely Chanukah and Christmas to everyone at Pridelands City.
