Over in Kentucky, Fatima was getting some work done at her girls' center "Wilson's Girl Cave". Wilson's Girl Cave is a center for girls 7-18. This was a place where girls could come just to get away from home or a place to let their creativity flow and have the support of other girls. Fatima founded her center after she adopted a 7 year old girl who was having problems at home that led to her always being in trouble. This little girl is now 17 years old and happens to be Zamari Taylor. Zamari group up In a one parent house with her mom Andrea Barnes and her little sister Zamora who is at the age of 15. Zamari's mom let her get away because of who her father was and how much she hated him. Her father was none other than Zachary Taylor. That's all she knew about him, his name. Her mother often times told her that her father was a dead beat and wanted nothing to do with her. After a while Zamari or "ZT" as Fatima calls her started to believe everything her mom said. Now I bet you are wondering how Zamari got with Fatima......
FLASHBACK TO OCTOBER 21, 2013
it was a cold winter day in Kentucky. It was also Zamari's 7th birthday. As any little girl would be, Zamari was extremely excited. She woke up laying on the floor under a very thin sheet freezing because her mom had it freezing in the house because ZT had gotten in trouble the night before. Usual punishment toward ZT from Andi. She had gotten in trouble because her little sister who was only 4.5 at the time broke a glass and since Zamora was only a "little innocent child" Andi automatically blamed ZT with resulted in a beating and freezing to death. Back to ZT birthday she sat waiting on her mom to awake because she knew better than to wake her up. When Andi woke up, she walked down stairs with zt's bags packed and Zamora in tow. She packed them in the car and told ZT she had a big surprise for her. After driving for 20 minutes Andi gets out of the car, drags ZT out and slangs her to the ground. " most people put their kids out at 18 but for you it'll be 7. Hopefully someone will take you in because I'm tired of looking at you" those were the last words ZT heard from her mother. After 3 days of being outside she finally got the courage to start asking for help. After the 2nd day she ran into Fatima and her niece Samaria. Once Fatima saw her she easily went into mom mode because a similar situation to ZT is how she ended up with Samaria who was a year older than ZT. 6 months later ZT legally belonged to Fatima and it's been that way ever since.
PRESENT DAY
ZT's POV
"ZT can you and Maria pls start closing up for me, we have to get ready to head to Atlanta" I heard my mommy say. Yes at my big age of 17 I still call her mommy. Fatima had taken me in when I had absolutely nobody and for that, I would forever owe her the whole world. At first, staying with her was kind of terrible because of how I treated Samaria. I envied her from jump because I feared that my life here would be just like my life with Andi and me getting in trouble and being treated different from my sister. I started to get very comfortable being with them once I seen how genuine they were. Speaking of genuine Fatima and Maria have been with me every step of the way in finding my father since I now have this crazy infatuation with knowing my dad. Don't get me wrong Fatima is great but I feel like knowing my dad will help me understand myself or why Andi hated me soo bad hence the reason we were even going to Atlanta. Well, that and the fact that me and Samaria basically begged mommy to take us to the Teyana Taylor concert on Saturday.
After 1 hour and a half we made it home and sat in the den for our daily evening talks.
Mommy Ti: soo ZT how do you feel about finally meeting your dad
ZT: I don't know. Like I wanna know him but I don't want him to think that now that he's in my life he can take me from you because there is nobody on the earth that I'd choose to be with over you
Maria: ZT nobody can make you go anywhere or do anything you don't want to do. You're to the age now where you can make your own decisions. But know that no matter what happens or how you decide to go about this me and mommy will always have you because what?
ZT: it's always been us, it'll always be us FSZ Taylor.
Mommy Ti: always my baby. I love you both forever and always
ZT/Samaria: always and forever we love you
The next morning
Fatima's POV
At 5:40 am I heard the most gut wrenching ringtone. As "best friend" by brandy started to play and the contact "My Bestie♾️🫀" popped up on my screen I immediately knew how this call was about to go.
Yanna: ArMoni get your ass up.
Me: Iyanna Arielle Mack please shut the fuck up. What is so important that yu must call me this early.
Yanna: I just found out that you're going to have a good daughter....
Me: huh bitch I don't have any friends how could I possibly be having any damn god children
Yanna: you're as slow as they come. ArMoni I'm pregnant. Have been for 5 months.
Me: aww Yanna I'm soo happy for you but speaking of kids, I have to go wake your nieces up.
And with that the call ended.
I got up and text the gc with the girls

Me: are y'all up? I really don't have the time to play with y'all today
SamariaKalia🫀 : yes mommy I'm getting ready now. I think ZT is up already also

Me: yes moonk (ZT's nickname only ti calls her) and dooda (Maria's nickname only Ti calls her) come put my nose ring back in for me please

And when that I got up and started getting ready. I prayed and asked god to give ZT all the clarity she wanted over the weekend. I prayed this man didn't bring anymore hurt to my child than her own mother has already.
