Josh's Judas

Making sure that Josh marries Rachel was Ursula's mission. She liked the idea very much because she believed it was going to bring wealth to the family. But more than that, it was instructed by the head of Lucifer's Cult and Rachel's father, Gideon, who was outsmarting her. He acted like a wealthy man, but in reality, he was just like a bankrupt Duke. He had the estate, but no cash. He needed Josh to marry his daughter for more than one reason. Marrying Rachel meant that they could keep him under control and siphon off his funds for their own interests. Josh was a smart man, good with money but with a trusting attitude. He had as much light as Rachel, Ursula and Gideon had darkness. They needed to dim that light as much as they could. He was highly intuitive and had healing abilities and they wanted to make sure that he never came into his gifts. So they interfered with his intuition, sending "downloads'' from the Devil to manipulate his decisions and change his personality. Josh was not perfect by any means, but he did his best to be a good human being. Any flaws that he had were amplified by his family's sorcery in order to ruin his life and keep him in chains. They did not stop at that. They attacked him relentlessly with snake bites in his head and the rest of his body that left him wondering about his memory and in a perpetual state of inflammation. Then they gave him pain killers that were addictive and harmful for him. Rachel's job was to treat him in a way that would keep his vibration low and facilitate his demonic possession by his own mother. If he felt good about any achievements and things were looking up, they would hit him in what hurt him the most, in order to prevent him from reaching a higher vibration. They did that either through sly comments or by whispering dark thoughts that he would believe are his own. Everything was done with Ursula's approval and eager collaboration. 

Dalilah also found out that they set associations between their victims and things or animals that were in bad shape, in order to weaken their targets. For example, she had discovered that if a mature plant in her home was not doing too well, it would be attacked with snake bites and associated with her health, and if it was a smaller plant, then that would be reserved for Jasmine's physical health . Ursula would not even try to hide her displeasure when Dalilah set up to nurse the sickly plants and remove the dead leaves. In fact, she brazenly explained the association. One day, as Dalilah was wondering what was keeping Josh from reaching out and explaining himself that he had never attacked her, Ursula said that he was in mouse energy. Dalilah was stunned. Mouse?? Yes, Ursula said and looked through her eyes at the toy mouse that Jasmine had bought for her cat. The mouse was often in the hallway and when it would get accidentally kicked by humans, it would roll while making a squeaky sound as if it was in pain. He would never speak to defend himself, she said, because we have put him in toy mouse energy. If his wife cheated on him, he would accept it and be made to feel that it is his fault, if Dalilah accused him of black magic and decided to write a book about him, he would lay on the ground waiting to be slaughtered. "He would simply never stand up for himself," she added, very sure of herself. 

Dalilah wanted to cry. Who needed enemies, when you could have a mother like Ursula?Having a wife like Rachel and a father-in-law like Gideon was terrible, but when your own mother tried to destroy you, that was at another level of evil. She actively tried to make him sick, both mentally and physically, and wanted to steal his money and share it with the in-laws. She enlisted the help of his son to blackmail him because of a spellwork made-up story of emotional unfaithfulness. And if that was not enough, she sent demons to kill his father and that of Dalilah for inheritance money. The evil trinity that was Gideon, Ursula and Rachel, strengthened by Josh's siblings and their kids, were part of none but Lucifer's army on Earth.
