ship: katsuki bakugo + eijiro kirishima.

The moon hung high in the sky, casting a silvery glow over the U.A. High School training grounds. The night was calm, the usual hustle and bustle of the day replaced by an eerie silence. Katsuki Bakugo and Eijiro Kirishima stood side by side, their training session having gone well into the night. They were both exhausted, but neither of them minded. Training together had always been their way of connecting, of pushing each other to become stronger.

Kirishima stretched, wincing slightly as he felt the familiar ache in his muscles. "That was a tough one, huh? You really pushed me today."

Bakugo smirked, though his eyes were soft as they looked at Kirishima. "It's alright, you can take it, Shitty Hair. You're strong enough."

Kirishima chuckled, the sound warm and genuine. "Thanks, man. You're not so bad yourself."

They stood there for a moment, the cool night air wrapping around them like a comforting blanket. There was a comfortable silence between them, filled with the unspoken understanding that had grown over their years of friendship. But tonight, something felt different. There was an intensity in the air, a tension that neither of them could ignore.

Bakugo took a step closer to Kirishima, his eyes never leaving the redhead's face. "Kirishima," he began, his voice softer than usual, "There's something I need to tell you."

Kirishima turned to face Bakugo, his heart pounding in his chest. "What is it, Bakugo?"

Without another word, Bakugo wrapped his arms around Kirishima's waist, pulling him close. The sudden contact made Kirishima's breath hitch, his eyes widening in surprise. Bakugo's grip was firm but gentle, his body warm and reassuring against Kirishima's.

"Stay close to me," Bakugo whispered in Kirishima's ear, his breath hot and tantalizing. "I don't want you to go anywhere."

Kirishima's heart skipped a beat, his mind racing. He had always known there was something more between them, something deeper than friendship. But hearing Bakugo say it, feeling his arms around him, made it all so real.

"I'm not going anywhere, Bakugo," Kirishima whispered back, his voice filled with emotion. "I'm right here."

Bakugo tightened his hold, burying his face in Kirishima's neck. "Good. Because I don't know what I'd do without you."

Kirishima's hands came up to rest on Bakugo's back, holding him just as tightly. "You don't have to worry about that. I'm here, and I'm not leaving."

They stood there, wrapped in each other's embrace, the world around them fading into the background. In that moment, it was just the two of them, their hearts beating in sync, their souls connected in a way that went beyond words.

"I've been wanting to tell you this for a long time," Bakugo admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "I've been an idiot, pushing you away when all I wanted was to be close to you."

Kirishima pulled back slightly, just enough to look into Bakugo's eyes. "You're not an idiot, Bakugo. You're just you. And that's enough for me."

Bakugo's eyes softened, the vulnerability in them making Kirishima's heart ache with love. "You deserve better than me, but I'm going to try to be the best I can for you."

Kirishima smiled, his eyes shining with unshed tears. "You already are, Bakugo. You're more than enough."

Bakugo's breath caught, the sincerity in Kirishima's words hitting him hard. He leaned in, pressing his forehead against Kirishima's. "I love you, Kirishima. More than anything."

Kirishima's smile widened, his own heart swelling with love. "I love you too, Bakugo. Always."

Their lips met in a gentle, tender kiss, the culmination of all their shared moments, their struggles, and their triumphs. It was a kiss filled with promise, with the certainty of a future together.

As they pulled away, Bakugo kept his arms around Kirishima, holding him close. "Stay with me tonight?" he asked, his voice filled with hope.

Kirishima nodded, his eyes sparkling with happiness. "I'll stay with you forever, Bakugo."

And with that, they walked back to the dorms, hand in hand, ready to face whatever the future held together. For as long as they had each other, they knew they could overcome anything.
