It was night out in Gotham City, but tonight wasn't like any other. Since I can remember, Gotham has been protected by the Dark Knight, Batman, but since the Scarecrow made a bonechilling return with his latest toxin, everything's been different. Inside of a cell sat Joseph William Wilson, son of Slade Wilson, looking over a television on the opposite side of the room.

Joseph Pov:

My life has always been shit. My family, just as bad. Recently, I found myself stealing from the Bank of Gotham, seeing as Harvey Dent couldn't get the job done, but got myself caught in the hands of the Gotham City Police Department. They were on the streets the entire night after hearing Scarecrow was back in town, so no matter how you look at it, my situation wasn't the perfect time to go out stealing.

Joseph: [Sighs] Should've waited until this whole shit was dealt with.

I turned to the wall of my small, cold cell, but eventually started listening to the news report on the sudden unmasking of the Batman.

Vicki Vale: [On Tv; shocked] This is Vicki Vale, reporting live, and yes, Gotham City, this is not a joke. Just seconds, at the condemned Arkham Asylum, the Batman had been unmasked by the Scarecrow, being revealed to be billionaire playboy and owner of Wayne Enterprises, Bruce Wayne--

That caught my interest quite a bit, considering my father, Slade Wilson, was just brought into police custody after taking complete control of this Arkham Knight's entire militia. But who would've thought that after all these years, the Batman -- the one thing keeping criminals like me -- behind bars, was none other than Bruce Wayne? I couldn't believe my eyes. I would've thought the Joker would be the one to do it, but as I live and breathe, Jonathon Crane was the one to unmask Batman.

Joseph: [Lays down on bed] So, Bruce Wayne's the man behind the Batman? I can't believe it...

Was this a wakeup call for Gotham? Was this the answer the people and criminals needed? Whether or not, I was going to get quite the talk from the other prisoners in here. Either way, I was definitely going to find a way to get out of here, even if I had to crack some heads in order to do it.

Guard: [Walks up to cell] Wilson, get up!

Joseph: [Looks up] Didn't you hear, officer? I don't get up, not unless it's worth my time.

Guard: Well, it might just be. You've got a visitor.

I was confused. Who would want to see the son of a patient of a failed medical experiment like Slade Wilson? Whoever it was, the guards wasn't giving me much choice, seeing as they came into my cell and practically snatched me up from my bed.

No Pov:

Joseph was brought from his cell, into the interrogation room. The guards slammed him on the chair and walked back to the door, making sure he doesn't get up from the chair and make a run for it. Eventually, he was met by a lightly shaved white man, who looked like he could take out any inmate in the whole prison.
