things go from bad to worse when my fear of another party being involved comes true. a second girl appears, and my eyes widen in surprise when i notice they share the exact same features. the only difference between them is entirely opposite hairstyles: long and brunette while the other is short and pastel pink. twin number two, with the pink bob, stands with her arms crossed in front of her sister.she levels us with an icy stare and accuses us of harassment. i come to our immediate defence because, one, we would never do such a thing, and two, that is an insane conclusion to draw when they're the ones doing the harassing.
"wait a minute, did you just say fan?" the brunette asks, confused.
yeah, okay, sure, play dumb when confronted with the truth all you want, but i'm not buying it.
"cut the act. you waited for the perfect opportunity to swipe our key card when it conveniently vanished and snuck into our room."
"are you kidding me right now? the only time i've ever seen you was when i crashed into your friend in the elevator. the lady at the front desk literally handed me our key card when we checked in. i don't know who you guys are and famous or not; i don't care who you guys are. all i want to know is how the heck you are here."
this girl should really pursue a career in the performing arts because i almost believe her, but i'd rather trust my gut than be deceived in the end.
"and i'm telling you, this is our hotel room." i reiterate for the millionth time.
"oh my god, this is absolutely going nowhere," she groans, exasperated. "my skin is freaking drying out, you guys are insane and i'm calling whoever it is i need to call to get you kicked out."
i roll my eyes at the threat; if she wants to play victim, fine, then she better have the evidence to back it up. there are cameras everywhere, and i'd be willing to bet her innocent charade won't last much longer when her lies dissolve one by one.
"you're confident, well, so am i. call them."
