THE MISHAP AND TRUTH

Scene 1

Abhimanyu and Akshara awaited the most joyous moment of their lives. Akshara was admitted to the hospital, and Abhimanyu stayed by her side like a shadow. Their eyes held hope, hearts were full of love, and their minds were occupied with dreams of a new life.

Akshara(in a soft voice): "Abhi, everything will be alright, right?"

Abhimanyu(holding her hand and kissing her forehead): "Absolutely Akshii , everything will be fine. Our daughter will be with us."

But fate had other plans. During delivery, there were complications.The doctor asked Abhimanyu to wait outside. For Abhimanyu, those moments felt like an eternity.

After 3 hours, the doctor came out, looking exhausted and sorrowful.

Doctor: "Dr. Abhimanyu, I have both good and bad news for you. Your daughter is perfectly fine, but we could not save Akshara,your wife."

Abhimanyu's heart seemed to stop for a moment. He had lost his wife,his world but gained a new life in the form of his daughter. Abhimanyu went to the hospital nursery and saw his daughter. She was as beautiful and innocent as her mother.

Abhimanyu(with tears in his eyes): "Baby, your mother gave her life to bring you into this world. I will make sure you never feel her absence."

Scene 2

Upon returning home with his daughter, The entire family was ready to welcome them. Manjiri-Harsh, Mahima and Anand, Neil and Aarohi, Parth and Shefali, Shivansh and Roohi were all present.

Neil: " bhai, we are all here for you. You will never feel alone."

Shefali: "We will shower our Akshu's daughter with all our love. She will never feel the absence of her mother."

Abhimanyu held his baby close to his heart. He looked at his family, who stood as his strength. But in his heart, there was a void that only Akshara could fill.

The baby was named Nyra.

10 years later

Time passed, and Nyra grew up slowly. Her childhood was filled with joy, but there was a subtle sadness in her heart that she never shared with anyone. Her cousins Shivansh and Roohi were her closest friends.

Roohi: "Nyra, let's go to the park today. Shivansh bhaiya is coming too."

Nyra (smiling): "Yes, let's go. I also want to go outside."

Nyra was playing in the park with her cousins, Shivansh and Roohi.

Shivansh (chasing Nyra): "Gotcha! You're it!"

Nyra (giggling): "Not fair! You're too fast!"

Roohi, sitting on a nearby bench, watched them with a fond smile. She was always there to provide a sense of normalcy and joy in Nyra's life. As the children took a break, Roohi approached Nyra.

Roohi: "How's school going, Nyra? Are you enjoying your studies?"

Nyra (nodding): "Yes, but sometimes I wish I could talk to Mama about everything. It's hard, you know?"

Roohi (gently): "I know, sweetheart. And I'm always here for you. If you ever need to talk or just need a hug, I'm right here."

Nyra appreciated Roohi's warmth but still struggled with her feelings about her father and the absence of her mother. As the day went on, she tried to push her concerns aside, focusing on the happy moments with her cousins.

Nyra spent time with her father, but one day she overheard something that broke her heart.

Scene 4

One evening, Abhimanyu was in his study, going over patient reports when he heard his name mentioned in a heated conversation between Harsh and himself.

Harsh: "Abhimanyu, you've done a great job raising Nyra, but you can't avoid the truth forever. Sooner or later, she will find out what really happened to her mother."

Abhimanyu(visibly stressed): "I know. I just... I want to protect her from the pain. Knowing that her mother's death was connected to me might drive her away."

Nyra who overheard the conversation, felt a rush of emotions.

Nyra (to herself, tears streaming down her face): "So it's true. Mumma died because of him. How could he keep this from me? How could he think that I wouldn't find out?"

She can't stop herself from questioning his father.

Nyra (voice trembling): "Is it true, Papa? Did Mumma die because of you?"

Abhimanyu(shocked and pained): "Nyra... I-"

Nyra (interrupting): "Don't! I heard everything. You were trying to protect me from the truth, but I already know."

Abhimanyu(struggling to find words): "I never wanted to hurt you. I thought it was better if you didn't know the details. I wanted to shield you from the pain."

Nyra(angry and hurt): "Shield me? You've been shielding yourself from the truth! I grew up missing Mumma and resenting you for not telling me the whole story. How could you think lying was protecting me?"

Abhimanyu(pleading): "I didn't mean to hurt you. I thought if you didn't know the full truth, it would be easier for you. I was wrong."

Nyr (with tears in her eyes): "You didn't just keep secrets. You took away my chance to understand my mumma. How can I believe you?"

Abhimanyu(voice breaking): "Nyra, please try to understand. I was in pain too. I thought if I could just make you happy, it would be enough. I never meant to cause you more hurt."

Nyra(sighing deeply, with a resolute tone): "I need time, Papa. Time to process this, to understand why you did what you did. Maybe, just maybe, I can find a way to forgive you, but not right now."

Nyra turned away, her emotions a tangled mess of anger, sadness, and confusion. Abhimanyu watched her leave, feeling the weight of his decisions. The confrontation left him with a deep sense of regret and the realization that mending their relationship would require much more than just apologies.
