CHAPTER 1

Zach's POV

Sitting in my desk chair finishing my phisics paper about electromagnetism I look up to see my mother leaning on the doorway with her nightdress. She looks like she has just waken up.
" hello mom did you sleep well" I ask standing up and bowing my head.

" I slept well sweety and stop bowing ur head at me you are my song and soon to be alpha" she scolded me

" I'm sorry mother I'm just being polite" then my smile fell to a frown " you still know that I don't want to be alpha because I'm not a people person" sighing I sit back down

" Zachariah james Ashton you are going to be alpha and find your mate no if ands or buts about it mister now get to school I will be talking to your father about this!" With that she left downstairs.

Legally groaning I grab my bookbag and start walking to school cause my parents think that if I get a car I will crash it but they don't see that I'm not like everyone else I'm more carefull and try to stay away from everone.

Finally after walking threw the woods I am at school, most people would hate school but I appreciate it more then others. Walking to the front doors I open them and I'm met with a exotic smell from the corner of my eye I see jessica jeagger the most popular girl in school with her blond hear and mile long legs anyone will be greatfull to have her as a mate.

'Mate' my wolf Sebastian growled

' shut up Sebastian you know we can't she's with aaron its probably a mistake most peoples mates are' I yell at him

He whimpers and hides in the deepest part of my mind and I smile to myself walking away.

You would think my wolf is stronger then that but I'm not really an alpha my mother was raped my a rouge and my mother wouldn't let my ' father' kill me
I don't even call him that anyways they never tried for another kid because it brought back memories.

Walking to my locker I get shoved my Aaron Thompson he's of course the jock that is dating jessica. I hit the ground with a thud.

" watch out nerd I was walking here" when he said that he kicked me in the stomach and walked away laughing you would think I would say something because I'm the 'alphas son' but I really don't care what happens only my parents care for me

I walk to my first class and I sit in the back so knowone throws papers at me and I take out my sketchbook and start to finished my longest drawing. The bell rings and I shove my sketchbook into my bag and grab my binder for class.

Class is an hour long and I leave for my two other classes then leave school because of Aaron again. When I get home I run to my room and slam my door sitting on my bed I start to think about if I leave who will miss me or even know I left. After two hours of thinking and packing a bag I wait till midnight so my parents are asleep and I open my window while grabbing my bag and jumping out.
The woods are just darkness except for some bits of moonlight drifting threw the trees I shift into my black wolf with light blue eyes and I run as far as I could from the pack house. After a few hours of running I run into some pack guards running the perimeter once they see me the start to chase me I manage to run as fast as I could around and under trees until I was stopped at the edge of a ravine and I turned around to run somewhere else when the guards were behind me

' well this is it we can't go anywhere else and alpha will kill us' I said to my wolf and he growled back I took two steps back and my back paw slipped of the edge of the ravine and I fell in.

The warriors ran to grab me but missed the ravine was so deep you couldnt see the bottom but you could hear the water crash against rocks and hitting the ice cold water from 100 yards up doesn't feel to well. My head felt like exploding after going so deep in the water I tried to swim back up but the current pushed me into a wall and I blacked out
