10 years later
Nyra stood by the window of her hostel room, staring out at the campus she had called home for the past few years. The life of the hostel was winding down as students packed their bags and prepared for the life ahead.
Nyra's heart was heavy with the bittersweet feeling of leaving behind a place filled with memories and the friends she had grown close to.Her best friends, Nihaal and Samriddhi, entered her room, their faces a mix of sadness and cheer.
The door creaked open, and Samriddhi peeked her head in. "Hey, you ready?"
Nyra nodded, trying to muster a smile. "Almost. Just finishing up."
Samriddhi entered the room, followed by Nihaal and Agastya. "We're going to miss you so much, Nyra"Samriddhi said, her voice tinged with sadness.
Nihaal(with a playful grin): "So, the great Nyra is finally leaving us. How does it feel to be heading back home?"
Nyra(forcing a smile): "It feels good. I'm excited but also nervous about what's waiting for me in Udaipur."
Samriddhi(hugging Nyra): "You've got this. It's a new chapter babe, and you're going to make the most of it. Besides, we'll be just a call away."
Nyra(teary-eyed): "I'm going to miss you guys. You've been my support system through so much."
Nyra felt a lump form in her throat. "But I have to go back to Udaipur. I need to face my past and mend things with my family."
Agastya stepped forward, taking Nyra's hand in his. "We understand, Nyra. And we'll be here for you, no matter what. Distance won't change that."
Nyra squeezed his hand, grateful for his unwavering support. "Thank you, Agastya. I don't know what I'd do without you all."
Samriddhi pulled Nyra into a tight hug. "Promise you'll call us every day and keep us updated on everything."
"I promise," Nyra said, her voice muffled against Samriddhi's shoulder.
Nihaal joined the hug, making it a group embrace. "And remember, we're just a phone call away. Anytime you need us, we'll be there."
Nyra closed her eyes, soaking in the warmth and love of her friends. She knew that leaving them behind was going to be one of the hardest things she'd ever done, but she also knew it was necessary.
Later that evening,
Nyra met Agastya, her college sweetheart, at a quiet spot on campus. The setting sun cast a warm glow, and the air was filled with love .
Agastya (holding her hand): "So, this is it, huh? You're really leaving."
Nyra (nodding, with a sad smile): "Yes. I'm heading back to Udaipur. It's time to face some old demons and figure things out."
Agastya (with concern): "Are you sure about this? I mean, you can stay, and we can figure things out together."
Nyra (sighing): "It's something I need to do. I have unresolved issues and a family I need to reconnect with. This is something I have to face on my own."
Agastya (holding her close): "I understand. Just remember that no matter where you go, I'm here for you. We'll find a way through this."
Nyra (teary-eyed): "Thank you, Agastya. Your support means more to me than you know."
