Chapter 24

Nayeon is washing her hands at the sink right now after Jeongyeon left her as soon as her call ended.

"I'm sorry Miss Im, but can you say it when the events over?"

Yeah right, as if Nayeon is going to see her again.

She stopped and stared at her reflection in the mirror. Why did I get dumb founded earlier? As if Jeongyeon took all her strength to talk. Nayeon just sighed before tapping her cheeks.

"You can do this Nayeon" she took her purse and left the bathroom. She saw Jeongyeon walking to their table, and she saw Sana.

"Hello Sana" Nayeon said as she saw a familiar figurine standing in front of her building. The girl turned around and she was welcomed with a smile.

Nayeon was curious on why she was here since she didn't see Jeongyeon with Sana. Sana noticing what the girl was doing turned around to look at what she looked at then she realized before releasing a faint chuckle.

"Oh Jeongyeon? Actually, she just went inside" Nayeon just nodded as if she doesn't care. Nayeon started to walk away since they may catch some suspicious eyes but then she looked at the girl.

"I hope I'll see you later" Nayeon said making the girl surprised but it was then replaced with a smile and she nodded. Nayeon didn't have anything to say so she left the girl and went inside the building.

Nayeon walked towards them she saw how the both of them leaned to each other's ears, Nayeon felt something boiling inside. As she gets closer to them Sana was the one who saw her first.

"Hey Miss Im" Sana said in her professional voice. Nayeon smiled before nodding her head.

"Thanks for accepting my invitation, Miss Minatozaki" Sana smiled, and Nayeon looked at the girl beside her who was just staring at the both of them. When Jeongyeon saw Nayeon was staring she shifted her gaze to somewhere immediately.

Nayeon knowing how awkward the atmosphere excused herself and she looked for where Jihyo is. Not far from where Sana and Jeongyeon were staying, Nayeon saw Jihyo who was looking at everyone panic is visible on her eyes.

"Miss Im!" Jihyo whispered as she excuses herself on the crowd. Nayeon was about to talk when the girl grabbed her arm and took her to the elevator. Nayeon wanted to ask the girl, but she keeps shushing her everytime.

"Jihyo, what's wrong?" Nayeon asked as soon as the door closes. Jihyo keeps taking heavy breaths before facing Nayeon. Nayeon was visibly confused of her action, so she calmed herself down.

Nayeon was pestering Jihyo to answer her, but the girl refused saying she will only tell Nayeon when they are already inside her office. The girl immediately grabbed her arm again and was walking in a fast pace as they were going to Nayeon's office.

"He's here" Jihyo said as soon as they entered the room. Nayeon even more confused asked who. She didn't even think that some guy she knows is coming to her event today. Jihyo was visibly upset as she was walking back and forth.
