Jungkook walked into the hall where Eunwoo and MJ were already seated. Eunwoo was engrossed in a conversation with MJ , their voices low but urgent. Jungkook took his place at the table, his gaze flickering between them.
MJ looked up as Jungkook arrived. "Jungkook, what Eunwoo told me—is it true? How could she be with SVT?"
Jungkook sighed deeply, his expression somber. "Yes, hyung, it's true. We don't have all the details yet, but let's see what happens."
At that moment, Eunwoo’s phone buzzed. He answered it quickly, his face becoming serious as he listened. After ending the call, he turned to the group, his tone reflecting the gravity of the news. "He’s coming directly from the airport to the base. He wants to hold an emergency meeting. We should head there now. The others will meet us there."
Jungkook and MJ exchanged a look, sensing the weight of the situation. They stood up, following Eunwoo out of the hall. The three made their way to the emergency meeting room, where the rest of the team was already assembling.
As they entered the room, Mj’s mind raced with questions about the upcoming meeting. The unexpected call and the direct arrival from the airport hinted at something significant. What could be so pressing that it required an immediate assembly of everyone?
When the others arrived, the atmosphere in the room was tense. Mj took his seat, ready to hear what new developments awaited them and how they would impact their situation with SVT.
Everyone was engaged in their discussions when the door swung open, and a man with a commanding presence entered. His gaze, intense and cold, seemed to pierce through the room as he walked, flanked by guards carrying guns. He took his place at the head chair, exuding an aura of authority that demanded respect.
As he settled into his seat, everyone stood and bowed in deference. He surveyed the room with a scrutinizing eye, assessing the people before him.
He addressed Jungkook and Eunwoo directly. “Speak.”
Eunwoo began, his tone steady but respectful. “We found her. We went to the SVT mansion a few days ago and saw her there. Jeonghan introduced her as his girlfriend.”
Jungkook took over, his expression serious. “She appeared scared, so I sent a spy to gather more information on her. Here’s what we found:
1) She was seemed distressed, often avoiding eye contact and staying far from them mostly in her room.
2) Our spy observed her interacting with other members, noting that she was cautious around everyone.
3) There were reports of her being isolated from the rest, with limited interaction.
Jungkook paused, letting the gravity of the information settle before continuing. “This information has raised concerns about her current state and her relationship with SVT. Seems like other than Jeonghan there are more who are trying to make relations with her.”
The man’s anger was palpable as he listened to Jungkook and Eunwoo’s report. He slammed his fist on the table, sending a jolt through the room. "Show me the photos!" he demanded.
Eunwoo quickly responded by pulling out a folder and laying out several photographs taken by the spy. He handed them to the man, who began scrutinizing each image with a steely gaze.
