______________________________________Samar's pov:
I was sitting in the car while she drove.
The road was empty and silent, and though the rain had stopped, the pavement was still wet.
For a brief moment, I glanced at her.
Her hair was falling across her face, and I felt a sudden urge to tuck it behind her ear with my own hands.
But I knew I couldn't do that.
I quickly looked away, focusing on the silent road again.
Scenes from the day's events replayed in my mind, my thoughts drifted back to the race.
The race had been intense, and I couldn't help but appreciate her driving skills. She handled the car with such precision and confidence, her movements smooth and decisive.
The way she maneuvered through the turns, the burst of speed on the straightaway; it was clear that she was a skilled driver.
As I was thinking about the race, I also remembered the unexpected moment during the race, when she had blown me a flying kiss.
It was a bold move, and it had taken me by surprise.
Despite the surprise and momentary distraction, I had to admit it was clever and charming. She had managed to catch me off guard and use that split second to her advantage.
Her playful move had given her the edge she needed.
A smile touched my lips as I remembered what she had said to me: "I wish we never cross paths again," she had said these words to me and now here we were, sitting side by side in the same car.
I wondered what she was thinking right now?
Did she still feel the same way about not wanting to cross paths with each other, or her thoughts are changed now?
I shook my head, a small smile still on my face.
As I reflected on the day, I realized how unpredictable and interesting our interactions had been.
Despite her initial wish to avoid crossing paths again, we had ended up here, sharing this quiet ride.
It was funny how things turned out, and a part of me was curious to see where this unexpected turn of events would lead us.
"What are you thinking?" Her voice pulled me out of my thoughts.
"I'm thinking about you," I said, glancing at her for a moment.
She turned towards me, lifted her index finger, and pointed at me.
"You," she said, then pointed to herself, "are thinking about me?"
"Yes," I replied simply.
"Why?" she asked, her eyes shifting between me and the road.
"What do you mean, why? It's my mind. I'll think about whatever I want to," I said, turning to face her fully.
She didn't respond but rolled her eyes at me.
"You know, you should stop rolling those eyes, especially when you're with me," I said.
"Oh yeah? And what if I don't, Mr. Rajvansh?" she said, her eyes still on the road.
"If you were mine, then I would have shown you what exactly happens, when you roll your eyes at me," I muttered under my breath.
