/CHANGE OF THINGS/

Sonic POV

I was walking at the school's hallway and beside me was tails who's talking about his new invention for his engineering project. Everything was fine with all the people around chatting, playing, and some preparing their stuffs inside the locker, including me.

"Yo Tails, can I borrow your notebook? I still don't get how you code the Python...I don't know, what if I shift course to broadcasting?" I ask Tails with my head filled with stress from all of the assignments "Sonic, it's only been 2 weeks, but I think 2nd year you can" Tails said arranging his locker and then handed me his notebook "Here you go!"

"Thanks bud!-" Suddenly all of the girls come rushing from the hallway and bummed my back "Omgosh is that SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG!?" the people excitedly screams from the crowd and points at someone at the entrance "Wait really!? So the news is real!? Gurl, I didn't expect him to transfer here!" The two squeak from their throat as they jump with their sparkling charms dinging from their phones.

Me and Tails turned around confused from what was happening, I then saw half of the black hedgehog's appearance with red stripes and cool leathered jacket.

'hm a popular person huh?' I thought to myself for a moment looking at the distance.

While every fan blocks the entrance, me and Tails looked at each other with a surprised face. I simply don't mind who's the hot shot their talking about, cuz I've been there, so it's complicated for people following me around. Especially like ames who wants a cool boyfriend back then when we were at highschool.

"hm... I wonder who is the new guy? It looks like his carrying a guitar on his back..." Tails chats while I look around to feel nothing but hunger, I turn and walked away "I really don't mind. Come on, I'm hungry for chilidogs!" I said hurrying Tails to eat at the canteen "Ahh Sonic wait up!"

Later inside the classroom, I was programing my project and beside was my so-called-friend, Jet. Who's sitting right next to me with his foot on top of his table while playing Speed Riders on his phone.

"Hehe, Class let me introduce to you to our new transfer student. please introduce-" a girl then excitedly lift's up from her desk and screams "SHADOW FROM DARK CHAOS!?" The crowd then realized it was the popular guy who was blocking the hallway.

"Class, settle down! Now, please introduce yourself" Mrs. Vanilla said by welcoming him.

"Alright. The name is Shadow... it's nice to meet you..." he simply Introduce himself and all of his fan girls starts screaming.

I was excited at first, but I don't want to be with someone this popular. So really don't like where this is going...

Looking at him made me remember my old rebellious self with his black leather jacket and piercings... But then I realized something and tilted my head to the side to look at his ears and see a golden earring that resembles mine.

"Hm..." it made me touch my notched ears feeling between it's gap.

" Thank you so much, mister Doom-" before our teacher could say his surname, he stops her with his hand and for a second "Shadow, is fine. Mrs.Vanilla."

"Oh hehe, alright then. You may take your seat behind mister Sonic, over there!" She said pointing at my direction, he nodded and move his way to his seat while everyone stares at him with admiration.

I was trying to distract myself from coding by copying Tails notebook, but my eye's snatch a glance at him.

*Tap...! His foot stumped on the ground with an echo... And at the moment, he was staring at me with those red dark eyes with the sun reflecting his iris as it becomes amber brown when he passes by.
