Chapter One

"Hi Alex" I heard my little sister Nevaeh say. "Hi Nevaeh what are you doing?" I asked. "Oh nothing." She replied looking sad. "What's wrong Nevaeh?" "I really miss dad..." "Uh Nevaeh I'm pretty sure we all miss him." We are all taking this hard. Nevaeh walked up stairs to her room I followed her. I stopped at her door and knocked. "Nevaeh may I come in?" I asked. "Yes Alex." She said. When I walked in she looked like she had been crying, because her bright green eyes were red. When I saw her crying it made me want to cry, but I tried not to. "Nevaeh I know how you feel, but I don't like to see you sad just know that you're not alone and you will never be. I'll always be here for you." "Im glade to have an older sister like you." She said while she hugged me. "ALEX AND NEVAEH COME HERE!" mom yelled. "We're coming" Nevaeh and I yelled. We ran down stairs to see what mom wanted. "Please clean your rooms help each other." Said mom. "Awwwww ok." Naveah and I both said. "We should start with your room, it's more messer then mine" said Navaeh. "Hey! You actually do have a point their." I said. We both laughed and went to clean my room. It took about 1 hour. "Now that we are done with your room lets to mine." "Okay come on." We both ran to her room. It took us 30 minutes to clean her room. "We walked down stairs to the living room and sat on the couch. Mom walk in "Are you two done cleaning your rooms?" She asked. "Yes." We replied. "Ok, good I will go see in a minute. You both better have not but your mess under the beds or in the closets." Mom said. "Oh we didn't" Navaeh and I said.
