part 1 - the debate

( trumps POV )

  i woke up on a sunny morning, sunlight shining through my blinds. today was the debate speech in delaware. my cook barges into my room and sets down a plate of pancakes and blueberries, my favorite.
  "be a little quieter next time, chef ratatouille." i say annoyed
i take a couple bites of my breakfast while reading the daily newspaper. there was more then 10 photos of me and biden, which made me have butterflies. but wait - I can't have feelings for my rival! i shake the thoughts out of my head and crumple up the newspaper, throwing it across my room. i get out of bed and walk towards my closet, browsing through my suits.
"hmm.. which one should I wear?" i say to myself
i pick out a nice looking suit and set it out on my bed. i strip off my robe and slide the suit over my body.
"perfect."

i step out of my mansion, paparazzi already clamoring to get shots of me. i wonder if biden feels like this too. i take a couple steps to my limo and get in, sitting down on the soft leather seats. my driver shuts the door for me and i roll up my window, signaling to the paparazzi i don't want any more pictures. they oblige and leave slowly, still looking back at me. i turn my attention to the driver and nod to him, as he drives away from my mansion. 2 long hours to go.

we drive by a sign that says, 'welcome to delaware' and I silently cheer to myself.
30 minutes to go until i see bide- i mean until my speech. the limo zooms past the sign and i hear my phone ding. it was from.. biden..
  "good luck at your speech, trump"
my heart flutters and my stomach flips in excitement. biden... texted.. me..?
i quickly think of a response and say "thanks, good luck at yours!"
i hit send and set my phone down, rubbing my eyes. i couldn't believe it, biden,
my rival, texted me good luck!? maybe I do have something for him..
