In life, it's always best to trust your own gut. No one knows you better than you, and doesn't regret hit that much harder when you oppose what your body is telling you only to realize that's what you should have done this whole time?

With a business as fragile, powerful, and delicate as any other major corporation, the CEO must listen to every fiber of their being to know if a decision is a good one or not. That is the role of Choi Seungcheol in his music company, SVT Sounds. Every microscopic detail counts, Rome didn't fall in a day, so he's always careful to oversee as much of what's going on as he can. And if his gut gives him the ok, then so does he. It's not easy being a CEO, and hasn't gotten much easier over time, either, other than that he's more used to the stress and weight of an entire company on his shoulders. That's why he values his relaxation time like no other, but even then he still always listens to his gut first. For example, Choi Seungcheol was walking down a street one day to go to his favorite burger food joint when suddenly his gut pushed his body through the welcoming doors of Cafe Heaven...

"Welcome in!"

During his walk, he wasn't even thinking. It's one of the few days he's had this month where could just let his mind wander . It was the jingling of the door bells, and the beautiful voice following that brought his mind back to reality. The large room was still lit by the day's light warmly shining through the many windows. Several small pots of flowers that were on a lone wall that adds a unique and alluring whiff of floral sweetness to the already present coffee smell. The cafe looked busy, yet somehow calm, so Seungchoel decided to stay a bit.

Seungcheol approached with a polite smile at the beautifully striking man behind the barista bar. His fine black hair looked soft and long, shaping his face delicately, complimenting his high cheekbones, big doe eyes, and pink lips. His compelling beauty, and entire aura in general, screamed nothing less than "regal". Seungcheol had never seen anyone like him in his life. It took him a minute to realize that he'd been staring until the man raised his eyebrows in a way that emphasizes a question Seungcheol didn't hear.

"P-Pardon?" he asked.

The barista re-lites his smile and replied, "I asked what I can get for you today?"

"Oh, yes." He said, ignoring his slight embarrassment, "I'll have a... uhh..." His mind had gone completely blank, along with his so called trusty gut going suddenly quiet. What do I usually order again? Do I even want that? Maybe I should try something new, but what if I don't like it?

"Uhhh..." The embarrassment grew stronger.

"Are you someone who likes surprises?"

Surprises? Is that what he said? "Surprises? What do you mean?"

"If you can't figure out what you want because everything on our menu looks, and absolutely is, heavenly, I can surprise you with something. Only if you would like that, of course."

"Hmmmm, that actually sounds kinda nice. Yeah, surprise me."

Seungcheol noticed the sudden excitement the barista tried to hide under his professionalism.

"Any food allergies?"

"Not really, but if you're planning something involving milk, I wouldn't mind oatmilk."

"Wonderful! It'll be out momentarily."

Seungcheol nodded, then turned and found an empty table in the corner where a big window met the wall. Since it was his relaxation time, he wouldn't be doing any work on his laptop so he pulled out a book instead. He got only a few sentences in before he absolutely had to look over at the barista bar. More importantly, the person manning it. He looked so focused and peaceful, the CEO observed, growing curious about what the man was making him. The giggles of some school kids broke Seungcheol's gaze and he looked over at the little group of high schoolers. It was quite obvious that the kids were giggling at the barista, and Seungcheol is the last person to blame them. The CEO quickly looked back down at his book at the indication of the barista coming his way.
