Before we start, I would like to do a brief introduction for my characters. I will introduce the main characters that are most important to this book: "The Hourglass: An Unknown Entity".
Character 1: Main protagonist.
The main protagonist of The Hourglass is EMMA. She is your typical 9th grader. Her parents are divorced, and her life has been falling apart. To cope with instability in her life, she turned to dreams, and found stability in her dream life. Little did she know, her decision to meddle with the dream world would have dire consequences.

- Light skinCharacter 2: Elliot Hills. ELLIOT is just an average guy. He's in his mid twenties, and has a job working as a teacher at Emma's school. Elliot's childhood was full of disappointment and loss. So, like Emma, he found comfort in dreaming. He, too meddled too much and found himself in a bad situation.
