Naruto lost his innocence because of me Ch.3

Sasuke's POV:

I placed my hands on his smooth soft cheek, Naruto's blue eyes had tears running down his face. If only I told him the truth 8 years ago. Maybe then I could've stayed with him, after all, I do love him still. Even if he says that he misses the old me it doesn't matter because he too has changed.

"Naruto... I know you can't believe that I love you too but please. Let me stay the night here and show you how much I love you. And if you don't want that then I'll happily leave you alone."

"I don't even know if you're telling the truth. Because for all I know this could be a trap to take me back with you."

Naruto doesn't seem to trust what I say but I don't blame him. I can only hope that a part of him wants to believe me.

"How can I prove that I do love you? And that I'm telling the truth about how I feel about you."

"There is a way. But I don't know if you or he will be willing to do it."

"Him?"

Who is he? Who is the person Naruto is speaking about? Do I know him, but most importantly how does Naruto know him? I just have to truth to Naruto and whoever this person is.

Or so I thought. He isn't a person at all. I should've known that Naruto was talking about the nine-tailed beast.

"Kurama.. Please. You're the only one that I can count on. Please help me Kurama.."

"..."

"Naruto? I don't think this is going to work. After all, he does hate humans, for what they did but there is no point in doing this."

"Mind your own business Uchiha."

"Kurama, please... I beg of you. Just help me this once.."

"!!!"

Naruto got on his knee and placed his face on the ground like bowing to his king. It ticked me off that Naruto was doing this just to know if I do love him.

"Ugh. Kid. Get up and stop being on your knees it's weird."

Naruto got up and looked straight into Kurama's eyes and I could tell that the nail-tail had a soft spot for Naruto. It's just that he didn't want to show it.

"Sasuke Uchiha does love you Naruto. Even if I were to do whatever you wanted me to do it's obvious he loves you. After all, he did seem pissed that you were bowing down to a beast like me, isn't that right Uchiha?"

Naruto stood frozen, his heart pounding in his chest as Kurama's words echoed in his mind. What Kurama just said about Sasuke loving Naruto left Naruto in a state of shock. Naruto had always seen me as a rival and a friend, but our bond was forged through countless battles and shared hardships.
