CHAPTER 29

"Can we talk for a moment?" I pulled Tzuyu as she walked out of Ayaan's room after putting him to sleep. He was already asleep when she took him into the room.

"Yeah..." She smiled, entangling our fingers together. She led me out of the house and sat on the bench. I couldn't help but smile. She really likes this place. She always feeds Ayaan sitting here. Even in the evening, she gives him a walk all over the garden after he wakes up from his evening nap. I sat next to her, pulling her closer to me. She sighed and rested her head on my shoulder. I don't know how to ask about this.

What if she gets scared thinking about it again? I don't want her to feel bad thinking about it again but still, I want to know what exactly happened and what she saw. I remained silent for a while and took a deep breath, then I moved my hand hugging her shoulder. Let me ask this gently, without making her feel fear again.

"Would you mind telling me what you said last night and what happened?" She raised her head and looked at me.

"Did Jeongyeon tell you?" I nodded. Tzuyu clutched the hem of my shirt as her fingers played with it. She remained silent and I didn't rush her to say anything either. I just waited for her to speak on her own.

"I saw a tiger there. A huge one. I wasn't dreaming or anything Jungkook. I saw the tiger standing there, I swear..." She pointed in the middle of the harder but a bit closer to the gate. The main pathway to the house. I glanced at the place she showed me and then looked at her again. I need more details from her. Understanding the meaning of my gaze, she bit her lower lip. "Tell me..." I encouraged her a bit more as she nodded at me and rested her head on my shoulder again as her gorgeous cherry-like lips parted to speak.

"While I was sleeping, I heard some voices that were hard to recognize. Then I woke up and went down but I didn't see Jeongyeon. So I came out of the house and walked towards the gate however no one was there and I turned to leave again. Then my stomach began to hurt. I waited for a while holding my stomach and then I felt something behind me. So I turned to see a huge tiger, Jungkook... so big. The golden eyes... I still can't bring myself to forget those eyes because I am scared. Then Jeongyeon came and asked me to run saying she would hold the tiger. When she fought I saw the tiger biting on her wolf's shoulder. I immediately ran in locked the door of Ayaan's room and came back to help Jeongyeon because I didn't want her to fight alone. But... then" She sighed without saying more. I know what happened after that.

"Jeongyeon had no wounds on her. And the tiger was nowhere to be seen. I'm still confused... what was that, Jungkook?"

"This is the first time it happened, right? Oh, this happened before and you didn't tell me?" I asked her. I just wanted to know if this is the first time.

"No. It didn't happen before" She mumbled.

I clenched my jaws and moved my eyes where she pointed earlier. What exactly happened? I have no idea about it because I never had such an experience nor did I hear about something like that. This is the very first time. And it happened while I was away. So, I wanted to know if this will happen again when I'm not at home. I felt the urge to check it again but I didn't want to leave her alone anymore.

Maybe, I should stay until she forgets about last night and then check this again. But I have something suspicious. I'm afraid someone is cursing her using a witch. That thought made me feel frustrated. I shook my head not wanting to think about that horrible thought. Who would do something like that? That's crazy... She has no grudges towards witches so there's no way something like that could happen.

"Let's see if this happens again. For now, I have no idea about this" She hummed.

"It felt... as if that tiger was about to kill me. The eyes only stared at me and didn't even bother to look at Jeongyeon although she came" Tzuyu added.
