*Next morning*
*at Gray's Mansion*

*In Matthew's room*

The early morning light streamed through the partially drawn curtains, casting a soft, golden glow across the room. The sunlight danced across the polished floor, highlighting the dark, rich hues of the room’s decor. The bed was impeccably made, and the furniture, though elegant, exuded a cold formality. On the mahogany dresser, a selection of high-end grooming products and a sleek, modern watch were neatly arranged, the watch catching the first light of the day.

Matthew stood before the mirror, adjusting the strap of his watch as the morning sun filtered around him. His fingers deftly worked through his hair, smoothing it into place with a practiced ease. The routine was soothing, a moment of control amidst the chaos of his past and the demands of the day ahead. The quiet of the morning provided a rare sense of calm before he stepped into the roles he played so meticulously.

Descending the grand staircase bathed in morning light, his steps resonated softly through the spacious, sunlit hallway. At the bottom, his secretary, Moris, waited with a professional demeanor, his eyes reflecting a blend of respect and curiosity. Next to him stood Andrew whose presence introduced a subtle edge to the otherwise tranquil morning. As Matthew's gaze met theirs, the unspoken tension of the upcoming interactions filled the air, marking the beginning of another complex day.

*Matthew's POV*

Coming downstairs I saw Moris, and Andrew who stood beside him, I was confused as to why would Andrew visit here? Does he need more investers now.

Andrew: good morning, sir.

I nodded to his greeting, looking at Moris, my facial actions spoke, asking why is he here, he shakes his head lightly, responding as negative answer, that he doesn't know either. Looking at Andrew I asked.

Matthew: what brings you here?

Andrew: I wanted some help.

What an asshole.

Matthew: then you should have visited my company, we could have discussed there.

My face harden, voice cold, anger was rushing through my veins just by looking at him. Greedy fucker.

Andrew: its personal.

My eyes went at Moris, not understanding the situation, he looked confused too.

Matthew: let's sit and talk.

I said walking forward to sitting area, Moris walking beside me, as Andrew followed behind us.

Moris: what do you think he came for?

he whispered near me, making sure Andrew doesn't hear that, I shrugged my shoulders to his response, reaching the sitting area, I settled down on a large sofa, Moris stood beside me, as Andrew was sitting opposite to me.

Matthew: speak.

Andrew: my daughter is missing, I want your help....to find her.

I looked at Moris, we were shocked, he came to us for help? Why? Why didn't he made a public demand?

Moris: since when she is missing?

Andrew: she is missing from 5 days now *he spoke hesitantly*

Moris: and you are coming now? And why don't you go ask police for help, and it's not like you can not find her, you are famous enough to spread the news of your missing daughter.

Andrew: I-I wanted to keep it a secret.

Moris: wh--

Andrew: please help me to find her *he said cutting Moris words, as he can't tell them his reasons*
