Author's Note:
Hello everyone, especially to those who have read the original 'Against the Wind' story and plot. I'm excited to share that I'm revisiting and revising the story. I understand that some of you have grown attached to the original, and I apologize for any changes that may disappoint you. I'm deeply grateful for your support and feedback, even if the original wasn't perfect.
To ensure that this story lives up to its full potential, I'm rewriting it from the ground up. I want to give justice to the original idea I had when I first started writing and make this book as amazing as possible. I hope you'll continue to support me on this journey.

Loud cheers and yells echoed inside the University of Toronto St. George Academy as the big screen displayed one of the hottest tournaments on campus: the Road Riding. Orm Kornnaphat Sethratanapong, known for her exceptional speed and skills, was leading the final lap. Her heart pounded in her chest as her opponents closed in, making the championship anything but easy.Orm tightened her grip, pedaled harder, and let out a loud scream, her opponents flinching at her incredible speed. As she rode against the wind, Orm's mind and heart were focused on one thing: winning. Not just for herself, but also for her Nana, her biggest supporter since childhood, the one person who truly loved her unconditionally.
Seeing the finish line, Orm doubled her already fast pace, crossing the line in first place. Loud cheers and applause erupted as she raised her arms in victory. Her Canadian friends were incredibly supportive, but Orm knew better than to believe their smiles.
"You never cease to amaze me, Sethratanapong," her coach hugged and patted her back as she approached.
"Thanks, Coach!" Orm replied with a bittersweet smile. Her coach was one of the few people who genuinely cared about her on campus.
"Are you really going back to Thailand? Couldn't you just graduate here before you go?" her coach asked, hoping against hope.
"I'll make sure to see you again, Coach. Maybe as an opponent," Orm joked. But when her coach's eyes filled with tears, Orm couldn't help but feel emotional. It was hard to let go of people you'd grown attached to.
Orm received countless congratulations and farewells before heading to her family's car and returning to her apartment to pack. Her flight was at 7 PM, leaving her only three hours to prepare.
As she closed her apartment door, Orm sighed. She had grown attached to her new home. She even opened the door again, as if to say goodbye to no one, before finally leaving. Thankfully, there was no traffic, making it easy to get to the airport. Orm put on her headphones and focused on her journey, leaving the past behind.
Instead of flying in the VIP class, Orm chose regular seats. She preferred to be an ordinary girl, not a privileged child, as she was far from that. Money was just money without love, and the love she sought was her family's love.
She had never been loved, so when asked about love, she would only say two words: "Road Riding."
After a grueling twenty-two-hour journey with two layovers, Orm finally touched down at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand. Exhausted from the long trip, she stepped out into the airport lobby, a sigh escaping her lips as she realized there was no one to greet her. While it wasn't unexpected given her grandmother's age, Orm couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment. Despite her mixed emotions, she knew this was a much-needed escape from her parents.
