The dark can always be a little enticing, that Hermes knew all too well. He'd been obsessed with the underworld since he had access for business requirements only, and nothing else. However every time he came, he found himself being led back towards her garden, it was honestly his favorite place here. Olympus had amazing gardens that thrived and lived during the day, but at night Olympus lost its magic. That's why Hermes loves the underworld, the magic here lives for days and nights and its all centered within Hekate's gardens. And tonight was no different, once his messages had been delivered to their rightful owners, Hermes diverted his trip. Not like anyone kept tabs on him. Even if they did; a walk in her garden always seemed worth it. And why wouldn't it be if he would be able to see her, even if it's just small glimpses of her, it seemed to be enough for now. Until it wasn't.

Hermes found himself stepping into her space, he knew he shouldn't, he knew how specific Hekate could be about her plants. But he also knows she would be kind to children and or animals, which is why he had brought a sun pup with him. As a method of bribing the goddess to spare his life. She could be the goddess of everything dark, but she still had a soft spot. One that he'd discovered by accident years ago, on her giving Cerberus the loudest smooches and tummy rubs. Back then their eyes had briefly met back then and he remembers how butterflies emitted from the depths of him and into her garden, since then he'd become obsessed with Hekate, there wasn't a day that he came and didn't find an excuse to be around her, or near her, or in the same room as her. Of course, she never knew, she never saw him. But today that would change, he would make his presence show to her, even if this gained her wrath. Hermes felt like the stolen glances, and awkward elevator rides didn't suffice him any longer.

It wasn't long before he made his way into her garden's underworld flowers and plants blooming to it's full beauty, night or day. They seemed so beautiful, with thriving vines that grew and attached to the walls of Hekate's greenhouse walls , these flowers bloomed in vibrant dark colors, and Hermes wanted to know everything about them. Today was going to be the day that he would hold a conversation longer than a minute with her, more than the usual you got mail. Or the usual good morning, this was something he was determined to accomplish today. Hermes walked slowly, cautious more than anything Hekate was small- short, easily hidden by the gigantic forms of her plants. The last thing he wanted to do was invade her space even more than what he already was. Letting down the sun puppy he watched the creature look around and bark at everything that was bigger than him, and honestly everything is bigger than the little sun spot. It wasn't long before he felt Hekate's magic, it intoxicated her entire green house and he let himself sway in her magic for a few moments, before hearing her clear her throat, his face that had the look of a hypnotized idiot quickly was removed when her voice broke his trance. "what are you doing here? after work hours" Hekate asked, Hermes was dumb folded for a second or two.

He'd been around her so many times and he's never noticed just how enticing her eyes are, that perfect smoke like gray color. and her lips. Forming a small pout, They seemed so inviting at the moment, Hermes had to fight the urge to just jump on her. Yes, he's been stalking her for years, stalking being the key word. But he's never actually acted on anything, not until now. It took him longer than expected to actually wake up from that small trance that he put himself in by looking directly into her eyes, what woke him up was the puppy, a fiery blaze, barking up a storm while trying to fight off one of Hekate's creations, he kneels down lifting the little guy up and watched how her eyes soften "i was showing this little guy that the underworld has beautiful people-things" his eyes didn't leave her face, and when she realized that he'd called her beautiful Hermes grew proud to watch a light pink tint take over her cheeks. she cleared her throat as her hand reached out to the small puppy that was cradled in Hermes' arm. The tiny pup gave off a growl followed by a tiny bark that got a laugh from Hekate, and Hermes was unable to hold his own magic down, a few golden outlined butterflies emitted from his chest, he quickly lifted the puppy up to cover them up.

That was a huge mistake. Her hand landed on his arm instead of landing on the puppies head, the area she touched began to ignite, releasing small butterflies, some gold, some pink, blue and purple, it was like a sunset. His face grew pink, and so did hers. It was obvious none of the two had ever been alone for more than a few seconds together and Hermes wasn't able to really control how his magic reacted to hers, she was a magnet and he was willingly crashing into her, not even fighting it. And she didn't seem to mind either, and that alone caused another eruption of weird emotions. He wasn't sure where it was coming from but he liked the butterflies that seemed to be sweeping out of him, Hermes then lowered the puppy to be at a height at which Hekate's could reach, he watched her get excited, happy, her fingers ran through the puppy's head before she finally got the courage to let her fingers slide onto his arm.

With the butterflies erupting inside of him he stayed silent, scared to break the moment, not letting out a breath. Hekate laughed and gave a squeeze "breath Hermes, look as long as you bring this little guy around" she said, and he noticed when she looked away from him, her cheeks getting a deeper shade of red, a grin going over his lips. "I guess i would not mind your company around the garden" her voice trailed so softly, and Hermes couldn't hold off his playful mannerism "oh, a daily date?" he asked while his grin grew mischievous and her cheeks grew red. This was a new side of her, one he was more than willing to cross realms to learn about.
