CHAPTER ELEVEN ! i know you.

" HEY, man! hey."
ben stammers as he looks at the unknown blonde guy he just ran into. carlos sighs as the five catch up to ben, "hey i know you!"
the five all shake their heads, "uh, no? don't know you either, man," ben replies.
"uh, yeah. you do," he says back, "come on, man. really? huh? dude, i'll give you a hint. my dad is quick, slick, and his neck, uhhhh is incredibly thick. come on man, i-." he looks behind the group and sees a poster of ben and mal from auradon. and points to it. he gasps, "oh! you're king ben!"
evie's eyes widen, "okay!" she says pushing ben away. carlos pulls raina along with them as jay stays back for a moment.
they all continue to walk down the alley to a flight of stairs cut off by a gate. jay grabs a rock and throws it at a sign, lifting up the gate. jay and evie guide ben to the front of the stairs. he goes to walk up them and turns back, "wish my luck," he states.
jay spins his finger, "all the way up."
evie stands on the first step as ben walks up, "good luck," she says leaning on a beam.
carlos sits on a barrel, raina sitting on the one next to him, and jay stays standing in the front.

" SO? where'smal?" evie asks, looking behind ben.
ben shakes his head. "she's not coming back," he states sadly.
"what?" evie asks, tone full of panic. "i'll talk to her," she says walking towards the funnel looking thing from another beam. "m! mal, it's evie. let me just talk to you for a second. mal, come on."
"GO AWAY!" mal's voice echos through the tube.
evie sighs as jay grabs evie's arm, "let's give her a couple hours to cool off," he speaks.
raina looks down the alley that ben was in but is no longer, "guys!" she says, gaining everyone's attention, "where's ben?" she asks.
evie looks and furrows her eyebrows, "ben? ben!" she says as the group sees a male walk back up the alley. everyone exhales, "ben, don't scare us like that."
"don't scare you?" the mysterious male says, "that's my specialty."
carlos steps in front of raina as he recognizes the voice. "harry," evie says.
jay glares at the brunette, "what did you do with ben?" he asks.
"oh!" harry says pointing down the alley, "uh, we nicked him. mm-hm. yeah, um. and if you ever want to see him again, have mal come to the chip shop tonight. alone. uma wants a little visit," he adds. jay glares at him, causing harry to frown sarcastically, "aw, jay. seems like you've lost your touch," he says looking him up and down.
jay goes to lunge at him as evie pulls him back, "jay."
carlos tilts his head, revealing a little of raina. harry laughs as he looks at carlos and barks. he then looks behind him to see the blonde and he winks. he smirks as he walks away, whistling. carlos goes to follow him but raina grabs his arm, stopping him. she shakes her head as she watches the guy walk away. jay begins to climb up the ladder outside of the building and goes up into the second floor.
