You had just gotten the job as a detective at the Australian Police Department and today was your first day and your boss had told you that you would have to be partners with someone.

"Don't put me with someone who is more annoying than a fox"

He giggles softly "oh don't worry Miranda is a giddy a friendly person I think you'll be fine"

He had called a woman named Miranda to come to his office and 2 minutes later a tall, short blonde haired, blue eyes woman had walked in she seemed like she ment business

"You called me while I was watching twilight" she had said it in a childy voice

"You'll be fine Miranda, This is your new partner y/n y/l/n make her feel welcomed to the station"

You provide a hand for a hand shake but she gives you a hug and throwing all your dislikes aside you hugged her back and you felt warm

"Sorry I'm a giddy and really touchy person" she said as she looked down

"Hey don't worry about it, it felt amazing to get a hug from my new tall teddy bear"    

you smiled hoping she would smile too but instead she laughed and smiled you had butterflys her smile was beautiful

"Uh why don't I show you your desk it's right next to mine" she giggled as she brisckly walked to your desk as it had fairy lights on the sides and pastel pens and notebooks

"Omg this is pretty I love it did you do this?"

She smiled and nodded and you decide to be dominant

"Words dear" she was flushed and smiling

"Yes i-i did do it myself" she smiled

"Your quite flushed you alright" you asked her knowing you did it to her

She smiled and said she was fine and went back to watching her twilight and you threw a twilight book at her that you read about 200 times

"What's this for?" She asked in a confused voice

"Keep it I've read it about multiple times and I'm tired of it" she smiled and shoved it in her bag

Our boss came up behind me and scared us telling us we could go home since it was already 12pm

"Wanna come home with me" you asked her in a smirky tone hoping she would say yes

"I would but I don't want to be a burden on you and your family"

You laughed and smiled

"I don't have a family I'm a single lesbian I think you can come home with me" she smiled and told you to follow her to her place and then she would get in your car so she would not have to bring her car as well

After she got what she needed you both went to her place and hung out but also got drunk on wine and vodka in the mix
