40 CHAPTER

𝙵𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍 𝙻𝚘𝚟𝚎

I'm not actually that drunk, but I can't open the front door. Zendaya drove me home and walked to my parents' house. The key is in the lock, but I can't turn it, the front door opens and a grinning Hayden is standing there.
"Hi." I slur.
"Hi." he grins and pulls the key out of the lock and helps me into the house.
He kneels down and takes off my shoes, my jacket, I look up at him and he looks down at me, his eyes are the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen, I love his little wrinkles next to his eyes, his blonde hair that is so soft.
I really want to kiss him, I really do, but the pain is still too fresh that he almost cheated on me with Sheila.
"Did you kiss her?" I ask.
His gaze lowers. "Yes," he says.
"Did you kiss her like you kiss me?" He doesn't answer and that says it all, I nod and go up the stairs, I stumble down the steps, holding on to the railing. In the bedroom I take off my clothes and get into bed with my underwear on, but get up again because I want to give Anakin a goodnight kiss. He won't be in his room, the door to the guest room is open and Anakin is lying on his back, both arms above his head and I smile because Hayden sleeps the same way.
Carefully, without waking him, I crawl onto the bed and give him little kisses all over his face, then I lie down next to him and gently stroke his nose.
Someone pulls on my hair, I slowly open my eyes, Anakin looks at me, smiling and babbling, I look at the clock on the bedside table next to me and it's just before three o'clock, I gently take Anakin's hand out of my hair and sit down and then I realize that I'm not in my room but in the guest room.
"Is everything okay?" Hayden's deep, rough voice from sleep makes my legs tingle.
"Uh, yes, I think he's hungry." I say and open my bra from the front to feed him.
It's quiet in the room, Anakin's eyes close again while he drinks, Hayden looks at me while he lies on his back with both arms above his head. I laugh quietly.
"Why are you laughing?" he asks, grinning.
"Anakin sleeps just like you." I say and look at him.
I lay Anakin in the middle next to us and fasten my bra again before I lie down, too tired to go to my room.

"Okay Anakin, you have to eat this." I say and try the spoon with mashed broccoli, but he spits it out.
Hayden laughs as my shirt is covered in mashed broccoli and Anakin laughs heartily too, I stand up and put the plate down.
"I'm going to take a bath." I say and go into the bedroom.
In the bathroom I undress while the hot water runs and fills the tub, I put my favorite foam in the water and get in.
Turn off the water and lean back, just as I'm about to close my eyes I hear Anakin babbling, I look at Anakin who is touching the edge of the bathtub.
