Author's pov

Radhika had just settled into her new home, a cozy little apartment she had bought with her own hard-earned money. She was proud of herself for achieving this milestone, and was enjoying the peace and quiet of her new space.

Just as she was starting to unwind, the doorbell rang. She opened the door to find her brother, Rohan, standing there with a mixture of concern and disapproval on his face.

"Radhika, what's going on?" he asked, without even greeting her. "I heard you'd moved into a new place. Why didn't you tell me?"

Radhika sighed inwardly. She had been expecting this. Rohan had always been overprotective of her, and she knew he wouldn't approve of her living alone.

"I didn't want to bother you, Rohan," she said calmly. "I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself."

But Rohan wouldn't let it go. He pushed his way into the apartment, looking around disapprovingly at the small space.

"This is not a good idea, Radhika," he said sternly. "You're a young woman, living alone in a new city. It's not safe. You should come and live with me, where I can take care of you."

Radhika felt a surge of frustration. She had expected this reaction from Rohan, but it still annoyed her. Didn't he trust her to take care of herself?

"Rohan, I appreciate your concern, but I'm not going to come and live with you," she said firmly. "I'm an adult, and I can make my own decisions. I'm happy here, and I'm not going to let you dictate how I live my life."

Rohan's face darkened with anger, but Radhika stood her ground. She knew she had to assert her independence, or risk being suffocated by her brother's overprotectiveness.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Rohan stormed out of the apartment, leaving Radhika feeling shaken but relieved. She knew she had made the right decision, but she also knew that this wasn't the end of the drama. Rohan would be back, and next time, he wouldn't be so easy to get rid of.

Radhika's pov

I was excited to attend my friend's reunion party, looking forward to a night of laughter and catching up with old friends. As I arrived at the venue, I was greeted by the sound of music and the hum of conversation.

But my excitement was short-lived, as I spotted Rishi standing by his car, surrounded by a group of admiring girls. My heart skipped a beat as I felt a pang of jealousy and embarrassment. In a split second, I tried to hide my face behind my hands, hoping to go unnoticed. But it was too late, Rishi had already seen me and was now grinning mischievously.

Just as I was trying to make a quick escape, my phone buzzed with a message from Rishi. "Hey, shy girl! What's with the hiding face? Can't handle a little attention?" My face turned bright red as I realized I had been caught. I tried to play it cool, typing out a response with trembling fingers. "I wasn't hiding, I was just... um... admiring my nails."

Rishi's response was immediate. "Save it, I saw you trying to hide behind your tiny hands. You're not fooling anyone!" I couldn't help but laugh at Rishi's teasing. I knew I had been caught red-handed, and there was no use denying it.

As I made my way through the crowd, Rishi called out to me, "Hey, come here and show me those nails you were admiring!" I rolled my eyes good-naturedly and made my way over to Rishi, who was still surrounded by his admirers. But as I approached, he dismissed them with a wave of his hand and turned his attention to me.

"Hey, I'm glad you're here," he said, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "I was starting to think you were avoiding me." I playfully hit him on the arm. "I was not avoiding you, I was just... busy."

As the night wore on, Rishi's questions became more frequent and his tone more frustrated. "So, who was that boy who hugged you earlier?" he asked, his eyes narrowing.

I smiled sweetly, enjoying the fact that Rishi was getting jealous. "Oh, that was my boyfriend," I said, trying to sound nonchalant.

Rishi's face turned red with anger, and he took a step closer to me. "Your boyfriend?" he repeated, his voice low and menacing. "I don't believe you."

I shrugged, trying to appear calm. "Believe what you want, Rishi. But yes, that was my boyfriend."

Rishi's eyes flashed with anger, and he grabbed my arm, pulling me close. "Don't lie to me, Radhika," he hissed. "I know you're not dating anyone."

I tried to wriggle free, but Rishi's grip was too strong. "Let me go, Rishi," I said, trying to keep my voice steady.

But Rishi just pulled me closer, his face inches from mine. "I don't trust you," he spat. "You're hiding something from me."

Suddenly, his eyes seemed to glaze over, and he looked at me with a calculating gaze. "I'm going to find out what's going on," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "And when I do, you'll regret ever crossing me."

I felt a shiver run down my spine as Rishi's grip tightened. I knew I had to get away from him, fast. But as I tried to pull away, he just laughed, a cold, mirthless sound.

"You're not going anywhere, Radhika," he said, his eyes glinting with danger. "Not until I get what I want."

And with that, he pulled me deeper into the party, away from the prying eyes of our friends. I knew I was in grave danger, and I had to think fast if I wanted to escape Rishi's clutches alive.

As Rishi pulled me deeper into the party, I tried to think of a way to escape. But his grip was too strong, and I couldn't wriggle free. I was starting to get scared, my heart racing with fear.

Just as I thought things couldn't get any worse, Rishi stopped in front of a black sedan parked at the edge of the party. He opened the door and pushed me inside, following close behind.

"Where are we going?" I demanded, trying to keep my voice steady.

Rishi just smiled, his eyes glinting with malice. "You'll see," he said, starting the engine.

As we drove away from the party, I realized I was in grave danger. Rishi's behavior was becoming increasingly erratic, and I didn't know what he was capable of.

I tried to think of a way to escape, but my options were limited. I was trapped in the car with a jealous and angry Rishi, and I didn't know where we were going.

As the minutes ticked by, my fear turned to panic. I was trapped, and I didn't know how to get away.

Suddenly, Rishi spoke, his voice low and menacing. "You're going to regret ever crossing me, Radhika," he said, his eyes glinting with anger.

I knew I had to think fast if I wanted to escape alive. But as I looked around, I realized I was trapped. There was no way out.

As Rishi's words hung in the air, I knew I had to act fast. I pretended to cower in fear, hoping to lull him into a false sense of security.

But inside, I was racing against time. I remembered a self-defense technique I had learned, and I knew it was my only chance.

With a surge of adrenaline, I made my move. I swiftly kicked Rishi's foot, causing him to lose control of the wheel. The car swerved, and I took advantage of the distraction.

I grabbed the door handle and flung myself out of the car, landing hard on the pavement. I didn't look back, I just ran.

I ran as fast as I could, my heart pounding in my chest. I didn't stop until I was sure I had left Rishi and his anger behind.

Finally, I slowed down, gasping for breath. I had escaped, but I knew it wasn't over yet. I needed to go to the police, to tell them everything.

With shaking hands, I pulled out my phone and dialed my friend number. As I waited for help to arrive, I knew I had finally found the strength to stand up for myself. Then i receive a text" ghar he jana tha to ma drop kr deta ye krne ke kya jarurat thi mre jaann.."

"Radhika, are you okay?" they asked, rushing to my side. I nodded, still shaken. She escorted me home, offering comfort and support.
