'Pancakes

When Noa walks into the kitchen, the only people she sees are Nick and Chris. They are eating bacon and pancakes that they made.

"Hey Nox, wanna eat something," Nick asks. "Yeah, pancakes are okay for me." "We already thought so, get as many as you want." Chris is ponting at the huge stack of pancakes they made. Apparently they remembered that Noa loves pancakes.

She never stayed over at theirs, but she mostly came over when they still had to eat breakfast, so she would join.

"Where is everyone?" Noa asks. She notices that it is really quiet in the house. "Are they still asleep?" "No, your dad and our parents went out to look at what is different and what is still the same around here. They just left, so I think it is gonna take a while before they come back." Chris answers with his mouth full of pancakes. "Bro can't you just wait before you swallow your pancakes and then answer my question?" Noa looks at him like he is five and Noa is his older sister, which has Nick dying of laughter.

A couple moments later Matt walks in. "Morning," he groanes. It is obvious that they accidentally woke Matt up. "Hey, want pancakes?" Chris asks, but before he finished his question Matt's mouth was already full with pancakes and was settled next to Noa.

"Did you sleep well?" Matt asks. "Yeah" Noa answers with a smile. Chris and Nick look immediately at each other. Without saying anything to each other they agreed that something must have happened. It is weird that Matt went from 'not even looking at her' to 'did you sleep well'.

"What are we going to do today?" Noa asks, getting a look from Chris. "Nox, we just woke up, let us eat breakfast peacefully before we go to discuss our plans for today." Chris is clearly not a morning person.

"Well, I was thinking that maybe we could show you around here? Since you've never been here before." Matt says, ignoring what Chris just said.

"Great plan," Nick agrees. "We should go to the mall!"

Nick always loved to go to the mall. But never got the chance to go there a lot because Matt was his only transportation. When they met Noa it turned into a weekly date between them, since Noa also loved to go to the mall and had a drivers license. "Yeah we should do that!" Noa says. So that was a plan.
