Chapter 4: The new rule

                "Maya!". Suddenly, they heard a voice which sounded like the voice of an adult, at that moment, Maya knew she was done for, even though she looked unbothered. Rita on the other hand froze on the spot, she knew her mother wouldn't take this lightly. "Oh no" "Mom?". Maya looked worried and also surprised. She was thinking, who told her i was here?. "Maya, what are you doing here?" "Okay, now i am done for, let's just face the music" "Wait, i got this" "Hey moms, i mean mom" "Maya, i'm asking a question and you need to answer it, what are you doing here" "Okay,mom, i just came here to explore,our teacher told us about this crystal and villain and i wanted to check it out" "What crystals? what are you talking about?" "Its true, Mrs. Bo, Mr.Al, told us the history of the seven dragons,crystals, all that stuff" "..." Rosa knew what they were talking about but pretended not to know. "And you came here without my permission, when will you learn?" "Mom..." "I don't wanna hear it, what i know is that i have set a new rule which is not going near the temple, do you understand?" "Rosa, you don't need to be hard on her" "i am just trying to protect her, now shall we?". Maya looks at the sculpture once more determined and also angry, she walks away. Rosa looks at the sculpture. (IN HER MIND) I've lost my father in law, i can't lose you.

"HA HA HA HA" it seems i'm enjoying the power of these crystals, They are the greatest of them all, (chuckles) MA manga, you have done well, now, i'm unstoppable, anybody that appears in my way, will go pff, disappear out of my way, HA HA HA HA!! HA HA HA! HA HA HA HA!

     There's a knock on a door, Mr.Bo answers it. "Oh, they are back, welcome honey". They kiss each other's cheeks. "Thank you" Rosa hangs her coat on a hanger standing next to the door. "So how was school today,dear?". Maya is silent, he notices that something is wrong but pretends. "(LAUGHS) Remember those times you wanted to see your granny, you were crying (MIMICS HER) Daddy please, i wanna see granny, well, here she is". "hmm...". She goes upstairs. "What happened dear, won't you say hello to granny?". He gives a sign to his wife to say "What happened to her?. she lies and gives a sign to reply "i don't know" "Oh mom!, such a long time..." Bo says that in order to break the silence in the room. "...don't mind Maya, she is being creepy these days, she's just stressed" "Why does she have to get creepy? It's fine, she will come along just fine" "I know her more than you do" "Well. i gave birth to her, that makes me know her more...". There are noises in the background "Urgh, arguing again. Just ridiculous. Tomorrow, i must see Rita", She goes to sleep. Back in the living room, the two are still arguing, Granny looks upstairs. "(IN MIND) she needs to talk to someone, or someone to talk to her'. She goes upstairs. When the two notice they are the only one in the living room, they quit arguing. "Oh no, we must have offended mom". Rosa said. "No, maybe she was just tired... tired of your blabbering" "I'll get you for that". They chase each other and laugh.
