*At Gray's company*

Matthew’s office, sleek and modern with a view of the city. Matthew is at his desk, visibly tense. Moris, his secretary, stands nearby with a concerned expression.

Matthew was talking on the phone with Andrew after talking he ended the call with Andrew, clearly frustrated.

Matthew: Andrew called. He says he’s found his daughter and she’s in his office.

Moris nodded.

Moris: We should now consider talking to Kate. She might provide crucial insights into why her twin is with Andrew. Kate could help us understand the full context of their situation and clarify any misunderstandings.

Matthew: Right.

Moris: Talk to her tonight itself, We need to get her side of the story to piece together the truth and understand any potential complications

Matthew: Yes... I’ll focus on ensuring we stay ahead of Andrew’s schemes and uncover the real reason.

He said gritting his teeth, his anger was clear in his face.

Matthew: Thanks, Moris. Let’s get this sorted out.

*At secret Mansion*
*Kate's room*

A luxurious yet cold high-rise Kate's room. The Evening sunlight filters through the large windows, casting a light yellow glow. Kate, she is sitting on a plush sofa, her eyes downcast, clearly scared. Matthew, stands by the window, wrestling with his emotions.

Matthew turns to face Kate, his expression conflicted.

Matthew: Kate, why do you look so frightened every time I enter the room?

Kate looked at him shocked. Thinking  "Is he stupid? Did he forgot how he behaved with me? And now asking why I'm frightened every time he enters?.....John was right he is bipolar."

Matthew: will you not speak anything?

Kate's voice was trembling.

Kate: I… I don’t know what you want from me. My father… he’s a monster. I’ve heard and witnessed stories about what happens to those who cross him. I… I can’t bear to think of what you might do to me.

Matthew steps closer, his face softening.

Matthew: I’m not like him. I… I didn’t know about your father’s methods until recently. And now… I’m not sure what to do.

Kate looked up at him, her eyes filled with a mix of fear and confusion.

Kate: what do you mean?

Matthew pauses, struggling to find the right words.

Matthew: I wanted to punish your father, not you. I… I didn’t knew you had a twin sister. I thought I was getting to him through your sister. But now…

Kate's voice softens, revealing vulnerability.

Kate: Now what?

Matthew sighs, his gaze lowering.

Matthew: Now, after knowing  that I made a mistake, that I took a wrong girl, I want to correct  it. I feel bad for what I did with you. You suffered for nothing.....only because of me.

Kate leans back, her expression torn between hope and fear.

Kate: You… you feel sorry for me?

Matthew nods, his voice earnest.

Matthew: Yes. You’re the daughter of the man I despise. But now, every time I see you, I’m reminded that you’re not him. You’re… you’re someone who’s suffering because of him.
