3rd POV
Jean appeared to be whistling to summon his horses so that there were enough horses to return to formation. Armin is being treated by Reiner by putting a bandage on his head so the bleeding can stop.
"Does your device still work?" Reiner asked
"Seems like it. "The latch disconnected properly, so it's not broken," replied Armin
"I see, how about your wound (Y/N)?" Reiner asked
"it's still hurt, but I can still kill 1 titan with my remaining energy" replied (Y/N) while wrapping her hand with a bandage
"That's good to hear. But what'll we do? We only have two horses. If Jean's horse comes back, we can all get moving, but..." Jean kept whistling to call his horse to come back, but there wasn't a single horse in sight.
"Damn it, why did reiner horse come back, but mine is still missing?" said JeanJean was still trying to whistle to summon his horse, meanwhile Armin looked lost in thought and silent. It seems that Armin is still in shock from what he experienced previously
"Armin, Hey Armin!" Armin woke up from his reverie because of Reiner
"You're still kind of shaken up, huh?" Reiner said
"...Yeah..., my mind's still a little hazy," replied Armin
"Regardless, we have to decide now. You guys go on and leave me here" said (Y/N)
"what?! no we can't leave you here," said Jean
"I'll stay here, you go (Y/N)," said Reiner
"No, I mostly like a dying person here. You can waste your life on a dying man are you?" said (Y/N)
"No, Wait! "We can fire a smoke signal, if the formation's going forward, line 4-3 should be nearby," said Armin
Jean fired the signal flare gun
"That's the signal for an emergency... but I can't imagine they'll understand our intentions just from that," said Jean
"Armin, we will wait for just another three minutes. By then, go and just leave me here," said (Y/N)
"No, you come with us," said Jean
"What? No, I'll just-"
"Looks like someone's here...to add, with two horses! That's.....Christa!" Jean saidChrista came carrying two loose horses.
"Everyone! Are you all okay?" said Christa
"Isn't it my horse? Whoa whoa hahaha, calm down Buchwald," said Jean, happy that his horse was back with him
"he looked truly terrified when he ran toward me, did you fight the titans?" Christa asked
"That's a long story to tell, okay?" said (Y/N)
"Armin! (Y/N)! what's that injury? Are you two okay?!" Christa asked worriedly
"Yeah, we two fine, somehow." Armin replied
"I'm surprised that smoke round convinced you to come here," said Reiner
"I was nearby, and I had Jean's horse," answered Christa
