The first meet pt.1

"Jia, Jia! Are you listening?"
"JIA!" her mother raised her voice entering the house

"Huh? Oh, mom, you're back. Sorry, I wasn't paying attention." Removing her earphones, she stood up to bring her mother a glass of water.

Where's grandma? Wasn't she supposed to come as well? Jia asked, her voice dull not seeing her favourite person.
Yeah, she'll be visiting tomorrow. I had a very good time meeting after a while.

Oh, right, you went to meet Auntie.
How was she?

She was well, her mother replied, "Why don't you meet her son ?"
"Junghyun, isn't he in university? What will I do with him?"
No, the other one

Oh right him I'd prefer meeting Junghyun. At least his ego isn't as big as his height.

Her mother chuckles, "Jungkook's not that bad. Stop talking bad about him. The boy's masterful.
"Hold up, you met him ?" Jia asked, surprised.
Yep, he came to pick up his mother from the café.
Interesting, how old is he again? I thought he was a year older than me
No, he's 3 years older, her mother replied

Ah, right, so he's about 19?
Yes, now go check up on your younger brothers, and I'll be going to the mall with Mrs. Jeon, tomorrow you and Jungkook can hang out or accompany us. Her mother told her.
"We'll see. I don't wanna go. I'll just stay at home babysitting. Or I can go out to the library?"
I've told you already that I'm not going to repeat myself. You're gonna go. Her mother said sternly.
Ugh! Fine. She said, leaving to go check on her brothers.

Later that night
Pov: dinner at Jungkook's house

(During dinner, Jungkook's dad breaks the silence)
"So, how was your meeting with Mrs.Kim" Referring to Jia's mother
"It went great. I had a wonderful time meeting her after some time,"
"Yeah, Mom seemed to be way too happy," Jungkook added.

Ah, speaking of this Jungkook, tomorrow you'll be accompanying me and Mrs. Kim at the mall. "
What??, what will I do there ?"Jungkook asked, annoyed. I have no interest in wasting my time on useless things. I'll drop you off, so what's the deal with me staying? I have football practice tomorrow.

"Calm down, you're gonna spend time with Jia. She'll be there
"WHAT! What the hell am I supposed to do with a girl? I've got BETTER things to do. I'm not going. "
"Yes, you are," his mother replied calmly.
"She is a very nice girl it'll only be for a short time -"
"Mom, I've told you I HAVE NO INTEREST"
Jungkook said, angry now getting up from the dinner table and walking out of the room.

(Meanwhile, his dad and his older brother Junghyun were enjoying the show).

The Next Day:
Pov: In front of Jia's house
"Jia, hurry up already! No one takes this long to get ready."
"Mom, calm down. This was your idea anyway," Jia retorted sassily.
"Mrs. Jeon is gonna be here any minute. "
Her mother yelled from downstairs.
"What! I thought we were supposed to meet them at the mall. "
"Yes, miss now, hurry up, or I'm gonna leave you," her mother yelled, annoyed now.
"Yay, I'll make sure to take even longer now," Jia replied
"Get down here right now, Kim Jia!"

"Okay, okay, calm down. I'm coming," Jia said, fixing her lipstick for the last time.

(Meanwhile, the doorbell rings)

"Oh, they're here," her mother says, grabbing her keys
"Yes, yes, let's go," Jia says, trying to sound unbothered.

(During the ride)
"You've got a very beautiful daughter indeed," Jungkook's mother said. "What are you studying at the moment ?"
