Lulu:

Its winter in our small hometown. The small layer of snow making the best crunching sound. My name is Lulu. I'm one of the many students at the town's high school. I'm one of the cheerleaders. I'm not the captain, but I'm one of the best from the view of the football team. I was walking to school early in the morning. Today was the final day of test week. The final test I had was my history test. I was second to the top of the class, right under my best friend, Maddie, and right above Jane the teacher's pet of the whole school. No one was a bigger teacher's pet then her. Once I had gotten five minutes away from school, I realised I wanted to get a slushie. I went into the corner shop and ordered the large cup. I leave and continue walking. I was early to school anyway. When I got there, the bus wasn't there yet. No matter, my friends will be there soon anyway. I walked to my locker and put my cheerleading hoodie away. I could wear the uniform around the school, but the hoodie didn't match. I dusted the snow out my hair and waited. I was hoping for someone to come. Then I got a call. It was the cheerleading captain, Alice. "Hey, Lulu, are you at school?"
"Yea. I'm at school. Why?"
"Good. Morning practice is cancelled. And I'm tired of holding up all the slack of you all, so I need you to run practice today after school."
"Why? We've been doing amazing."
"Don't care. I know you know our routine, you're the only good one. Make sure they know it before next weeks game."
She hangs up before I could get another word in. I knew Alice hated me for being as good as her, along with being smart, but she truly hated everyone. I wished Alice would grow up already. I closer my locker and wait for anyone else.

Around twenty minutes later, one of my classmates were here. I didn't know their name but they were the only other person here. They smiled at me but walked by me. I went to the classroom and find my seat. I sit towards the front of the front of the class. I get my book out and start reading. Not even the teacher was here yet. I still hate around twenty minutes before school was meant to start.

Five minutes later, the classmate enters and looks around, they sit at the back and start setting up for class. We sat in silence.

Maddie:

I was in the back of my mothers car, getting dropped off like always. My name is Maddie, I'm the class geek. I'm top of the class, right above my best friend Maddie, the cheerleader. I'm the sister of Jane, the teacher's pet. But Jane chooses to take the bus. I'm the one everyone goes to ask questions. When I get to the entrance of the school, the bus wasn't there. The snow wasn't thick enough to slow the bus, so it was the driver being late. I'm not surprised and I'm just glad Jane isn't in the care. I walk inside and head to my locker. I had fifteen minutes until class. I put my dungeons and dragons notebook away and grabbed all my school equipment. I shut my locker and head to the class. I sat next to Lulu and smile at her. She seemed sad but she smiled back. I was glad to see someone here, other than the classmate at the back. "Hey Lulu. I thought you had morning practice today."
"No. Alice called it off and now I'm in charge of the after school practice."
"Is Alice an ass?"
"Always. But she's really bitter right now. Probably because the couch plans on changing the captain. Apparently she trusts a few people outside of the school, but no one even on the team. She hates everyone but herself."

"Sounds like Alice to me."
"Really, it does."
"Remember middle school when Alice cried because she wasn't aloud to call out nerdy Lisa."
"Yea, poor Lisa changed schools because of her."
"Ten minutes before school starts, only three people in class."
"Not even the teacher. Isn't the exam soon?"

"Second period."

I was sure that the bus would've been here by now. But it still wasn't. It was worrying. I messaged Jane, asking where the bus was. I didn't get any replies. Typical Jane, the minute she gets on the school bus she would turn off her phone just to act like she was already in school. But no matter, I could message others. Being the class geek meant people asked for my number to get help on homework. I sit there and finish getting everything out. I was hoping that someone would finally arrive, or at least the teacher. Then I got a message from one of the boys from the football team.
