Entry one:
Hello new book this is yuji itadori! I don't really know what exactly to write but I'm gonna start writing in you from now on as my grandpa thought it was a good idea.
I can't exactly explain why he thought it was a good idea but you know..old people.
I never really got around to using you but, I guess I finally found a reason!
Today is my first day at my new college. I was in community college until many people saw my capability with sports during high school and college that I decided to fill out a form for a random scholarship and here I am! I didn't realize how many scholarships I had offered to me till I checked my emails, and letters. To be honestly it was overwhelming but to be completely honest, I did it more for shits and giggles but now I'm kind of regretting it?
I had plenty of friends at my old college and dropping out of their school to go to a new one sounded kind of shitty to say the least. But I mind as well make the most of my life while I'm here. It feels weird starting late but I'm sure it won't be as bad as I'm making it out to be in my head.
But I need to leave soon so, I'll see you later diary? Journal? Whatever u are. I'll be sure to update when I'm back!

I looked at the book and sighed a little not wanting to leave the house. But I must do what I'm destined to.
I grab my bag walking out of the empty house sighing once more leaving my depressing thoughts and feelings at the door. No need to give the world a bad attitude, the world did nothing. So I leave the house with a smile and carry on.
As I walk to the subway, I notice how many of the leaves have turned brown and orange due to fall being right around the corner. It isn't unusual for the leaves to change color when summer is in its prime. It's been quite hot the past few days so I'm guessing the leaves are giving out from not being able to have water as often. Which is honestly quite sad the more I think about it. However my thoughts are caught off guard when I see the playground my grandpa used to take me to.
Without hesitation, my feet gravitate towards the obstacle courses and now I'm running up the stairs to the slide.
I look down at how high up it was and smiled. I remember grandpa used to get so anxious when I climbed all the way up here. Since he was older he couldn't quite climb up himself but I would run without hesitation. Seeing how high it was always made me want to go up and down repeatedly until I got tired. Little yuji sure had a lot of energy but also the bravery of a tiger. I would always do shit like this growing up. I mean it was no wonder I broke my arm falling off this very slide. But I remembered not caring that my arm was dangling off I just kept wanting to go.
I sure did a number to my grandpa. No wonder he passed with such a bad attitude. Although I will give him props. Even though that old fart was headed down closer to death, he gave it his all raising me. Well since no one else wanted to. I guess it was better that way since I didn't know anyone from my family besides my uncle who doesn't care about me. But who cares. There could be more family out there I don't know about but that's the least of my worries. Oh yeah what am I doing?

Quickly I snap out of it and smile again heading towards the slide.
The park was usually busy around summer time but since school was starting up again for the kids, there was no one in sight besides a few old ladies speed walking down the track around the park.

I look at my watch and gasp.
Shit, the train is about to pass.

Quickly I go down the slide for the little yuji inside me and book it to the station.

Before I knew it I got to the station and it was already leaving.
Now Stressed I decided my best bet was to run.

So from there, I book it again.
I never would've believed I would outrun a car anyway but I got those scholarships somehow right?
