School Integrity
School work challenges integrity in some. Sometimes, it is dishonest or unfair to help a classmate with school work if it is an assignment you are supposed to work on by yourself, and they should be working on it by themselves. If it comes to the teacher saying the class can work together, then it would be okay. Other than that, it is dishonest and unfair to the people who work on it by themselves. If they do it right by themselves, and someone got it right with their friend, it seems like a 1 vs. 2 scenario. Someone that worked with their friend got a good grade with their friend and posed the risk of getting caught cheating. The other people who worked by themselves got good grades, and do not set themselves up for failure like the people who worked with someone else when told not to. It is not always the right thing to do, but at certain times it is okay to do because the teacher or the second said it was okay. Usually, if the teacher says it is okay, it is okay, but some people act like they know what the teacher is going to say and give the wrong information to certain people just to set them up for failure. In certain instances, if someone is stressed with their schoolwork, they tend to release it onto everyone else they come across. This happens because they usually do not have another outlet, and this can ruin friendships and, even worse, ones that are beyond repair will end completely.
