Narrator's POV

In the heart of Hyakkaou Private Academy, the student council room stands as a testament to opulence and power. Its high ceilings and grand chandelier cast a warm glow over rich wood paneling, while the plush red carpet muffles the weighty silence. At the center, a large round table commands attention, surrounded by throne-like chairs, with the president's seat towering above the rest. One a nearby wall, stood an impressive, large aquarium, filled with fish and aquatic creatures alike.

Sayaka Igarashi holds a Student Council meeting to discuss Yumeko. All student board members were in attendance, excluding the president and vice president, who were attending to their own matters.

"Then you've decided not to rescind Yumeko Jabami's life plan?" Came the stern voice of Kaede Manyuda, adjusting his glasses.

Sayaka stood in front of the large round table, composed and an elegant, upright posture, that Y/n started associating her with.

"Correct, that's the president's wish." She responded.

Y/n narrowed his eyes at that. He sat in his chair, composed and elegant demeanor intact, one leg crossed over the other, and a hand on his chin as he thought over the situation.

He felt slightly annoyed at the thought of Yumeko becoming a real life house pet. He zoned the meeting out, deep in thought.

"I read through that bullshit life plan my sister has for Yumeko. On one hand, I'm seriously doubting my sister's decision, the idea of Yumeko being controlled like that... it makes me annoyed. Conversely... I have nothing but love and respect for my dear sister, I know she's highly intelligent, but... if things start to go downhill, what will I do?"

"I trust Yumeko's skill and intelligence too, I know she's above letting herself go down this road, so she must be after something... but what? I'll see how things play out, for now." The male concluded his thought process.

"Nyahaha!" Runa laughed cutely, never taking her eyes off her ps vita as she played her games on it.

"And you wanna know what else?" She rhetorically inquired.

"An official match too, Yumeko says she wants to gamble with the president, and Y/n. Looks like Y/n's teasing nature caught the attention of Yumeko!" The girl finished.

Y/n's eyes narrowed in realization.

"So that's why... we're ignoring the fact that she's won a considerable amount, but she's taking advantage of the fact that she's a house pet, using it to get an official match with us..."

Before Y/n could rationalize further, his train of that was interrupted by Midari, who stood up abruptly, scaring Runa. She started freaking out, outright screaming and yelling, before running off.

"Hey! Midari!" Kaede shouted, attempting to make sense of the situation.

He let out a sigh of annoyance, and adjusted his glasses.

"What is that girl's problem?" He asked, his tone stern and annoyed.

Y/n uncrossed his legs before standing up. He smiled, before responding.

"I think I've got an idea, if I'm right, our Midari is in for a big surprise. I'll be leaving now, I've got some matters to attend to."
