I walked down our long fancy stairs in my pink satin robe as I held onto my phone and card that Ivano slipped in my dress last night.

Since I'm a stay at home wife I basically have this large spacious home to myself everyday until he gets home at 11pm.

I sat on my couch and analyzed the card.

Ivano DeLaRocca

His number was down below and just as I grabbed my phone it pinged making me look at the unknown message.

Unknown: took too long, hello Jazmyn.

I insanely knew who this was.

Me: Hi Ivano. You couldn't wait until I texted you first?

Unknown: No. I don't like waiting.

Me: unfortunate. Well goodbye.

My phone rung making me click decline and then another call came in making me roll my eyes and answer it.

"Yes Ivano." I groaned and placed him on speaker as I moved to my kitchen to cook breakfast.

"Hello Jazmyn." He rasped out making me laugh. "Why are you so awkward? Stop saying hello Jazmyn." I teased as he stayed quiet.

"Oh I'm sorry. Hi baby." He teased back making butterflies erupt making me look away from the phone. It's been a while since I've been called baby.

"Okay and goodbye-"

"You're suffering with Maceo and I can tell. When's the last time he gave you affection?" He asked and I scrunched my face.

"Why is that any of your concern-"

"Yesterday, the way your body responded from the use of diction... told me everything I needed to know." He cut me off making me go silent as a mouse.

"I get affection alright and why are you calling me you have a wife-"

"We suffer from the same things-"

I hung up on him as I looked down and rolled my neck.

Unknown: we suffer from the same things Jasmine... we can help each other.

Me: no we don't and you spelt my name wrong.

Unknown: jasmine, like the flower. I know how to spell your name Jazmyn. Jasmine, gift from god. Persian name.

My heart fluttered.

Me: oh, well I think it's best of us to call this conversation quits?

Unknown: let me come over? Let's talk...

Me: No.

Unknown: too late... :(

My doorbell rung making my lips slowly part. I stormed to my front door and swung it open revealing Ivano.
