I'm bored. But I'm always bored. Serendipity told me that there will be a cake in this party but she's the only one who loves cake. I want to watch movie about cars.
But mommy and daddy told me I need to wait. Cale is busy as well playing with other kids and Serendipity always follows Clark everywhere.
I don't want to do what they are doing because that bores me a lot.
I want to see the new movie about the racing red car! My hand plays with the fork I was holding.
I'm really bored. Daddy and Mommy are talking to someone. I sighed. When are we going home? I stood up and walked just to ease the boredom I feel. Everyone is happy. Daddy told me that it's a reunion. Why people need to meet just to talk for hours? That looks so exhausting.
I stopped walking when someone caught my attention. It was girl smaller than me. Her hair in a messy tie, one is higher than the other one and her eyes a bit red.
I think she just cried.
She looks at me and pouted.
"Bakit ka tumitingin?! Cute ako alam ko!"
My face crumpled at her words. She talks so fast.
"Why are you crying?"
"Hindi ako umiiyak!" She sniffs.
"Your eyes are red."
She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand. She snob me and crossed her arms.
I smiled because she looks cute. She's right.
I walked closer to her and held her hand. She looked at me with her eyes wide. I want to laugh at her reaction because she looks funny.
"If you're lost then I'll help you find your parents. The place is huge. You will get lost if you don't have someone."
"35 ka na ba?"
"Huh?"
"Para ka kasing matanda magsalita." She said with no expression and pointed her face. "Tapos ganito pa mukha mo."
My free hand patted her head. "Yeah, I'm older than you. So you should follow me."
She removed my hand and pouted. "Maliit lang ako pero feeling ko mag kasing edad lang tayo."
I smiled and pulled his hand. "Let's find your parents."
"Good luck mahanap ang tatay ko, kanina ko pa siya hinahanap! Nasaan kaya yon!"
"That's why you're crying."
"Hindi nga ako umiiyak!"
"Ah!"
We stopped walking when she pinch me but she just showed me a peace sign.
"Hehe."
We continue to walk around the hall to find her parents until I saw my twin, Serendipity with Clark talking with someone.
"Cage who's that?! Why are you holding hands? I'll tell momma about it!"
As if she's not holding Clarky's hand. Serendipity is very loud, especially when she's crying.
"Oh, so you wanted to helped her?" The mister asked me, I forgot his name.
"Yes." I nod. "po." Mommy told me to be respectful.
They said that they will help us but the little girl's father already found us.
He looks worried, looks like he's about to cry. Yeah, I think that is his father, they look so much a like.
"Thank you, pogi! Pero baby pa tong minicakes ko ha? Frends, frends lang." He told me before patting my head.
The little girl stare at me but didn't speak until his father pulled her hand away.
I'm happy to help someone. That really consume my time. I think I should go to mom now and tell her that I can go home first. Our driver can take me home first.
"Pogi!"
That little loud voice made me stopped again. When I turn around, I found the little girl in front of me.
Her pink cheeks puffed again.
"Did you forget something?"
"Salamat!" She exclaimed. "Ano..."
"Hm?"
"May cellphone number ka ba?"
Is she asking for my number? Why?
"No, I don't have. We don't allowed to use phone except when in school. But I don't memorize it."
She pouted and extended her hand to me...showing me her pinky finger.
"Sige mag promise ka nalang."
"Promise what?" I asked but still place my pinky finger to her. I didn't know what it is but I just let her do what she wants. Maybe I may not see her again. Or forget her soon. She will forget me too for sure.
Clark told me that we can forget people we meet. It's like a magic. Maybe that will happen?
"Kapag nagkita tayo ulit matatandaan mo ako! Tapos magiging kaibigan! Tapos ano...magiging crush mo ako..." she pursed her lips. "Pogi ka naman kaya okay lang na maging crush mo ako!"
Then she run after that.
Without turning her back.
I shrugged my shoulders when she left. See? I think we will never see each other again. I look at my hand and smile.
But she's funny. If I will meet her again, I'll play with her. She's not boring to be with.
"Cage, darling?"
My mom voice made me turn and smile, running to her and hugged her.
Now I can finally watch the movie when we get home!
