Once Inha left in the ambulance, Fei started walking towards her car that was parked on the road near the shed. Unlocking it she said to Eunbi: “You should come with us to the hospital”
“Huh?” Eunbi reacted in surprise.
“You injured your ankle right? We need to get you treated” Fei said, looking at her leg. Eunbi wondered when Fei noticed that she sprained her ankle and was quite amazed at how perceptive she was to her surroundings.
“Umm okay, kamsahamnida” Eunbi said bowing.
“No need to be formal with me. After all, you are my age. Put on your seat belt please” Fei said and started the car. She didn't notice the faint smile gracing Eunbi’s lips as she went towards the cottage she shared with Sarang in the resort. Once Sarang also got into the car, Fei drove towards the hospital.
“This is Ko Eunbi, Inha’s friend. Lim Sarang, Seungcheol oppa’s wife” she introduced the two to each other.
Wow! So these idols are really married Eunbi thought to herself, amazed!
“Annyeonghaseyo, nice to meet you Sarang-ssi”
“Nice to meet you. Thank you for helping Uri Inha. I seriously don't want to think what would have happened if you weren't there to help her to safety” Sarang said.
“I was just helping my friend. It's not a big deal” Eunbi replied humbly.
“Eonni, what about the boys.?” Fei asked about the situation concerning the SVT members.
“Oppa, Wonwoo and Hoshi have landed but they are stuck in the airport because the fans are angry and not allowing them to exit. They are calling for Wonwoo to divorce Inha. It's really sad” Sarang replied.
“What nonsense!” Eunbi muttered immediately.
“Exactly!” Fei said in a beat seconding her. “It's so absurd”
“I know it is. But nothing can be done. Oppa said he hadn't said about the twins birth to Wonwoo as he is already stressed out”
“Better not to. Did you find out who was behind the news leak, Eonni?”
“Inha’s stepmom. Ayat Eonni found out through her contacts in the press. The pictures were leaked by Kim Sumi’s secretary” Sarang replied and Eunbi's ears perked upon hearing this tidbit of information. Until then she didn't know that Inha had a stepmom.
“That vile woman! Today could have been a disaster due to that lady's actions” Fei said, continuing to drive as they almost reached the hospital.
“But it didn't happen. Thanks to Eunbi here” Sarang said, for which Fei nodded at her as she turned into the hospital’s ER driveway.
“Eonni, can you take Eunbi to the ER? I'll go park the car and join you?” Fei asked Sarang if she could go with Eunbi
“Oh sure! But what happened? Are you injured Eunbi-ya?” Sarang asked, quickly warming up to Eunbi.
“Umm, yeah I sprained my ankle when my foot got stuck in some branches in the forest” Eunbi replied, flustered.
“I see. Okay can you walk? Or should I call for a wheelchair” Sarang asked, getting out of the car.
“No no, I can walk” Eunbi was quick to reply before they could start doting on her further. She felt so out of place with the two of them that she was starting to feel as if she was intruding upon their lives.
Soon Sarang helped Eunbi check in and they took her in to be examined by an orthopedic doctor. Thankfully it was just a small sprain and after a shot of painkillers the pain seemed to recede. Still they advised her to stay for a bit until the swelling subsides and ice the area to relive the pain after going home. Eunbi was laying down staring at the pristine white of the hospital ceiling, the curtains around her giving her the privacy to finally collect her thoughts. She wondered how Inha was doing and the babies too, if they are doing well after coming into this cruel and harsh world. Around 30 mins she got up from the bed to leave and was trying to put on her shoes when a deep voice called for her from behind the curtain:
