"Does that mean -" Before Dev could speak further, I cut him off.

"Yeah you are thinking it right. Why dont you take a seat and I'll just get freshen up and back in a few." I said and turned my heels towards my room where Vidyut was sleeping.

I twisted the knob and opened the door.

I took out the blanket from one of the cabinet and pulled it over Vidyut. I turned over and was going towards the washroom, when Vidyut took the hold of my hands and started speaking.

"Why cant you just be with me? I dont like you being around Rakshit. It hurts in my chest, it feels like someone stabbed me. Why cant we both be together? If you cant love me, its fine, my love will be enough for both of us. 

I want you to be beside me every morning wake up, I want to take you out on dates, I want to go racing with you, my bike vs your car, I want to give you every thing you deserve, I want to give you every inch of happiness. 

All I want is to just be with you." Vidyut spoke being all drunk.

My heart was thumping very heavily as if it would just come out of my mouth.

"Sleep for now, we'll talk in the morning. Maybe you wont even remember this. But try to remember this" I said and kissed him on the forehead and turned my heels towards the washroom.

I got freshen up and went towards the hall where Dev was sitting. If you think I was nervous, I wasn't. I was happy because finally my grandparents can meet him.

"Tea , coffee or maybe some drinks?" I asked Dev.

"Tea would work." He said with a smile.

I went towards the kitchen and prepared tea for both of us. 

"So umm. How have you been lately?" I asked Dev trying to be a little friendly.

"Fine. What about you?" He asked

"Fine" I said 

"How is everyone? I mean mom, dad, dadi and dadu?" He asked.

"I have no connections with mom and dad and about dadi dadu, they are fine and happy." I replied.

"What about you? Are you still the 4year old Kaira who used to cry for chocolates every time and had a sweet tooth?" He asked and chuckled a bit.

"Me and sweet tooth? I hate sweet things." I said and was a little shocked. I have never liked sweet things as far as I remember.

"Thats why the tea is way too bitter and as far as the Kaira I knew, she had a sweet tooth." He said and I noticed maybe a tear at the end of his eye.
