"You sicken me. A filthy worker carcass... barely alive.." A soft but deep feminine voice ran from above their dying body. Their life slipping between their fingers like the oil from their wounds. They couldn't see, they could barely hear anything. Their senses leaving them...-"Okay sweetie you're all better! Go get some rest and I'll check in on you next week!" A voice called from another room. It was the same one but it seemed cheerful? It was dark in the room, They went to get themselves up but their body wasn't there. ''Where are my legs?'' After a moment they realized they only had one arm, panic began to set in why was it so dark-
The lights turned on, it hurt their sensors as they struggled to adjust to the bright light. "Robo-Jesus you're finally awake." The feminine voice rang as she walked in through the door, slamming it behind her. The two were in some sort of isolation cell, she was at the door while The other was on a soft padded bed covered in bandages. A belt strapped across their torso keeping from sitting up. The room had nothing else in it but an empty elevated metal tray.
"Where...am I?" They asked, almost scared to speak, the stranger drone that had walked in got closer. As their eyes adjusted to the light she leaned her face closer to the one on the bed. ''That light headband- the tall stature and yellow eyes'' their eyes widened.
"You're in isolation cell 1... Open wide I'm feeding you." She spoke flatly, grabbing what looked like small batteries, upon seeing the batteries they could feel how empty their stomach was. They weren't one to argue about free food however they were suspicious, opening their mouth she poured them in. "I am Doctor R. As most worker drones call me...I am trained in the technician field on my own accord I tend to many wounds and worker drones but..." She paused.
"But..?"
"But I have different plans for you, out of my own morbid curiosity that is." The silence began after that sentence. What did she mean? They felt a pit alongside the batteries in their own stomach. Not knowing where this is going they began to struggle against the strap. "It's not really much use...I know you're from the labs, escaping on what seems your last leg- or well....no legs..."
"What are you going to do to me?! Kill me? Eat me?! Use your sick twisted wea-" A finger was pressed to the worker drone's mouth, they froze.
"I'm going to see just how adaptive your ai is. You see I would've done this with other worker drones but my reputation with them is far too good to taint." She spoke flatly. "I hope you understand...and once I'm done I'll let you leave.." She had a small chime to her voice, it was distrusting.
"...how long will that be?"
"It depends on you my new companion...do you have a name?" R asked, pulling a clip board from behind her back and a pen.
''My name? what's my name..'' They seem to have forgotten...blinking slowly and jerking slightly to test the strap's strength. "...I don't remember." They spoke after a moment, guilt filling their mind and making their back feel tense.
"I'll just give you one then..how about.." R glanced the drone up and down, clicking her tongue a few times. "You're a default drone...nothing really special except your missing helmet.." She mumbled slightly. "I'll just call you. O1." She waved a hand turning away. "I'll be back later don't do anything stupid while I'm gone the door will be locked and you have no legs and only one arm." She left abruptly before they could speak.
