Our Little Secret

After Howie stopped singing it left Kourtney speechless, she didn't know how to react. She was still a little mad and felt betrayed by him for not telling her that he go's to North High, but she at the same time, it was probably to most romantic thing anyone had ever done for her. She was quite conflicted with her feelings for him.

Howie started to walk to the front door of Slices, slightly hoping that Kourtney would stop him. When he was halfway out, he heard Kourtney.

"Wait." Kourtney said softly without thinking. Howie immediately stopped in his tracks turned around to face her and asked curiously "Yeah?"

Kourtney walked up to him at first slowly then sped up a bit remaining eye contact with him the whole time, then when she got to him she grabbed his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. Howie was a little surprised by this but immediately kissed back placing his hands on her waist, Kourtney then wrapped her arms around his neck. After what felt like hours (which in reality was about 2 minutes), they pulled away looking deep into each others eyes. They couldn't help but smile and laugh a little, they just shared their first kiss ever and it just felt right, the dim lighting in the pizza place definitely made it more romantic.

Howie finally broke the silence by asking "So, do you forgive me?" Kourtney snorted and answered joking "maybe..." They both laughed still holding each other.

"Umm.." Kourtney said letting go of him, "I should probably finish cleaning the place up." "I can help." Howie offered lovingly. "Okay." Kourtney replied with a smile.

After Kourtney and Howie closed up the pizza place they walked out together, Howie opened the door for Kourtney, "After you, your majesty." Howie said to his queen. "What a gentleman." Kourtney said

There were out the door just staring into each other's eyes while holding hands and smiling. "Uh, look Howie." Kourtney said going out of her daze. "I might've forgiven you for the whole 'North High' thing, but I don't think my friends do very much. And I think if they knew we were a thing again, I don't think they'll be very happy with it." Howie understood where she was coming from, he also knew that it would be the same for his friends at North High, though he did slightly wish that wasn't the case. "So I thought that we could maybe be a secret." Howie liked the idea

"Well, if that's what you want then it's our little secret." Howie said sweetly as he gently stoked his hand across her cheek. Kourtney smiled warmly he him and gave him a quick kiss.

"Well, Good night." Howie said. "Good night Howard" Kourtney said, they started to walk away but then Howie turned to Kourtney and asked "Do you want me to walk with you?" Kourtney turned to him and replied "Yes please."

They then started to walk down the street holding hands, but then Kourtney's phone rang. "It's Nini." She said, "I'll be very quiet." Howie said jokingly which made Kourtney giggle a bit. She then answered the phone, "What's up Ninars?" Kourtney then realised that Nini had been crying "Kourt, could you come over please? I could really use your company right now." "Yeah, of course. I'll be right there." Kourtney then hang up the phone.

"Whats happened?" Howie asked a little concerned "I don't know, but I have a funny feeling it's to do with Ricky." Kourtney replied. Kourtney had been in this situation before so she knew it must've been that, she could also tell from the argument they had at Slices earlier that day.

"Oh. I should maybe...." Howie said. "Yeah. I'll hopefully see you tomorrow though... or whenever Nini recovers." Kourtney replied. "Alright then. Well, see ya." Howie sweetly said. "See ya" Kourtney replied giving him a little goodbye kiss before heading to Nini's to comfort her.
